No Electricity and No Water. When we booked this resort, the host never told us they were on generator (no electricity meant no water as well). Host was not upfront and honest with the situation in his villa but still charged full price. No offer to lessen the daily rate. Horrible experience. I would not recommend this place. My family and I had to interrupt our vacation and look for another hotel quickly. We wasted a whole day of our vacation to move. The place is also very far to get to and will require you to pay to go to and from anywhere… I would recommend that you stay closer to the city where all the activities are closer and island hopping boats are closer. Renters beware… save your money and go elsewhere…

We loved every minute! I stayed there for almost a week with my partner and two sons. The staff was warm and helpful in every way. They connected us with a diving center nearby, arranged island visits, restaurant reservations, etc. The breakfasts were gorgeous and they were happy to prepare sandwiches/coolers for day trips. But our favorite day there was the one by the pool! The villas are spacious with optimal sunset views. Pearl Bay Villas is located in a serene and well preserved area that is not over-run with tourists which was a great relief. Thank you for the beautiful experience!

Supremely hospitable host / owner, in Peter. Tropical oasis surroundings. Lovely accommodation. Best bit = Lying in the pool over looking the bay. Perfect both during the day and in the evening under the stars. Will be back (and bringing my family next time!).

This place is a hidden gem. If you have stayed on a self-sustained island before it is not always easy to find luxury you are used to on the mainland. This place delivers. It is a great location to access all the surrounding islands by boat; which picks you up at the dock on the property. The town of Coron is also accessible by either boat or vehicle which they will setup for you. Everything we needed/wanted they provided. The views are unmatched; especially the daily sunset from the balcony of the Villas. The staff made us feel like family and the food was incredible as well. Pearl Bay Villas exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back here.

I stayed 10 nights here to get away from it all! It was so peaceful and the staff so warm and friendly. The sunsets are to die for while you relax in your hammock. There are nearby dining options but you don't go to The Philippines for food. The staff will organise your boat trips to Coron and Pass Island and ferry you across the bay when required. You'll sleep well in a very comfortable bed and if you need anything, just message Rina! There are 2 villas which are available separately. They sleep many or you maybe able to just book the penthouse. In short, an ideal place to unwind and to see some of The Philippines finest.
