Premier Inn Buxton

Lovely staff in a great hotel and setting. We visit often, the place is as expected from a premier inn. Clean, tidy and well presented. Staff are a credit to Buxton Premier Inn from Belinda in the kitchen to Charlotte, Chloe, Paul, Molly and the many others that assist us and always greet us with smiles, a warm welcome and always engage with the little ones. 5 star from us. The food was amazing. Service excellent. We had dinner after checking in for the night. Jamie checked us in and was so kind. Gave us ideas for what to see in the area. Jee and Harry made excellent food. The chicken makhani was absolutely delicious. Well priced and so easy to eat before headed upstairs for bed. Thank you.

What’s so great about Premier Inn is that it’s standard is the same no matter where you go. Clean, friendly and great value and the one at Buxton is no different. Peaceful nights sleep as well. Strong recommendation given without reservation. Rooms 120 onwards and 220 onwards etc are furthest from the lift…

Lovely member of staff greeted me, no fuss check in, although I was a bit shocked that I had to pay to park there!! The room was comfortable, a bit dusty under the bed, and I couldn't get the heating controller to work, so I was a little chilly during the night (but I feel the cold terribly, so it would likely have been fine for normal folk). As always with hotels, bigger towels would always be beneficial; at least one that I could wrap my hair in!!! Nice shower and spotless bathroom.

Fabulous base to visit the local Christmas markets at Haddon Hall and Chatsworth. Comfortable rooms and good food: breakfast and evening meal. Thanks especially to Jamie who looked after us so well and helped to make our stay so enjoyable.

My wife and I recently visited the Chatsworth Christmas markets and stopped off here to break our journey home. It had been a sunny and bitterly cold day and was snowing heavily when we arrived - courtesy of Storm Bert. We were very cold when we arrived in the early evening and whilst the majority of normal people ie men, heat up quickly when placed in a warm environment other, more complicated creatures ie women, take hours to return to an acceptable operating temperature. Charlotte the manager was absolutely brilliant organising the heating in our room and providing an extra duvet. She also supervised in the restaurant later on where we enjoyed an excellent dinner. Breakfast the next morning was also very good and the duty staff were helpful and friendly. All in all it was a very pleasurable visit and Charlotte and her colleagues are to be congratulated and I can heartily recommend this hotel.
