We had a lovely 1 night stay as part of a 3 day walking trip. The host made sure someone was in to welcome us when we arrived and converted the twin to a double for our convenience. He gave us an extensive list of places to eat and enjoyed the short walk to town to find an evening meal. Breakfast was hearty and delicious and we enjoyed some chat with the hosts while we readied ourselves for a day on the trails. A really lovely stay

Lovely bed and breakfast, spacious room and great bathroom facilities. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Thank you, we will definitely be staying again!

Excellent stay in this delightful b&b while visiting Buxton for a concert at the Opera House. Perfect hosts in Paul & Sarah, lovely room ( no5 ) which had an extremely comfy bed and hot shower. Excellent breakfast too, we will return when we visit Buxton again. Thank you

Great cosy place to stay. Brilliant breakfast and friendly staff. Also had an electric port to charge the car which was great. Would definitely recommend staying here! Good location and not to far to walk to the town centre. Lots of noce restaurants to go to in town

Excellent, friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Like home from home! Very comfortable accommodation with a fascinating history, in a perfect location for exploring the Peak District and Buxton itself. The breakfast options are varied and are suitable for all dietary requirements.

We had a 3 night stay over the bank Holiday weekend, which incorporated a visit to the Buxton Opera House to see a show. A superb location to explore the Peak District from. The accommodation is comfy and clean. The breakfast was superb, and the hosts most welcoming and helpful. Just a short walk into Buxton, where there are plenty of superb restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend staying here.
