The hotel was incredible, and the employees were very attentive, the only thing is that it is quite far from the center of Puerto Plata and the airport. But, the Cabarete area is very good, since there is a lot of movement of foreigners and a lot of parties. As far as very good place is concerned. (PS: There is little Uber offer) If you go and there is an Uber with the name Ever, it is the best<3

Room was spacey and very clean. Had a coffee maker but no coffee😂. The balcony faces the street and sun wakes you up early but I love a sun alarm. Street noise at night on the balcony not so bad but it starts early in the morning which I don’t like. Expect a sales speech

The rooms and pools at the Presidential Suites are very nice and the staff is very professional. I speak Spanish but they appreciate any Spanish you can speak. I especially enjoyed Erika and Enrique at the front desk, both were very helpful. They have a good restaurant on the beach side. We went during the off-season in May so there weren't many guests which was very quiet. The location is right on the main road in Cabarete so it's easy to get to restaurants and Cabarete beach. It's about 20 minutes to Sosua Beach and 50 minutes to Puerto Plata. We rented a car and parking was free making it easy to go to other beaches and into Puerto Plata. I recommend you get insurance if you're not a good defensive driver.

This is my second time here. I love the location and how secured it feels.

The room itself was decent and the swim out room was a nice bonus. The negatives of this resort are housekeeping does not touch the room for an entire week unless you signup for this all inclusive plan (which is expensive $87 a day per adult) and they would not even exchange the two bath towels that we were given. You had to pay for that as well. We opted out of the all inclusive and ate at the local restaurants on the beach for half the cost. Also, the resort had no outside bar that was open consistently, only one restaurant on grounds was open, and you have to walk across the street to get the beach. I will not be returning.

We had 2 room Presidential Suite as RCI exchange vacation in Gold category. We have been Elite members with HGVC for years. This is by far the worse. Our shower overflowed every time we used when call to fix it or change the room we were told ‘take shower without turning water on’ as per supervisor two days in a row. Toilet paper stand broken no paper plates, no tissue boxes, fees for towels, cards, list goes on… Next they called and told us to come over and we will show you room in imperial suite and main property in Puerto Plata… pick whichever room you would like and this becomes a sales pitch and 4 hour ordeal. Obviously with this kind of service and deception we decline to invest any more as we cannot trust or do any business with company that uses deceptive techniques. Upon return when asked where is Carlos the guy who promised us to change the room apparently he had already left for the day. Guess what now they have no rooms available to change. Honestly speaking this resort appears to be empty with very few guests seen in our stay.

The property itself and the room were very good, and might even rate four stars. The exception is the fourth floor where we were first located (the fifth floor has the same problem). The room balcony faces the busiest and noisiest street in the Dominican Republic; it was impossible to use. After repeated requests and two nights we were moved to the third floor, which was much quieter and had a very pleasant balcony overlooking the back garden. The room was more than adequate. The staff service, however, was non-existent by design. Hotel staff never once entered or cleaned the room (we stayed 10 days). When I asked for clean towels I was referred to the desk; they informed me that for $5 US we could have the original towels replaced by clean ones. I refused. It was by any measure, one-star-hotel service. The management of this hotel is cheap beyond compare, and are turning a first class place into a beggarly bother, apparently trying to save a few bucks by not providing their customers with services that even roadside motels provide without question. What a shame and a wasted opportunity.
