If you stay consecutively, you need to clean the room. You must go to the front desk to remind the hotel to clean the room and replenish the supplies in the room, otherwise the hotel will not clean the room for guests staying consecutively. However, the hotel environment is still good.

This is a great place to stay me and my family stayed in a cabin which was very beautiful and clean you could tell how new they were and the shower was huge the water pressure was amazing and it was so warm the pool was good but it was a bit dirty but you could still swim in it the caravan park is easy to navigate as well. The staff were very nice as well, the balcony was great there was a big couch as well as 2 chairs there was also some sliding doors that were beautiful the hallway is a bit little so it is 1 person at a time the cabin is very well decorated and furnished the cabin that we were staying in had 2 tv’s. The Landry was good it was card operated and we had clean clothes at the end of the day it was a great comfy little place to stay would recommend going here.

This hotel is in a prime position overlooking the bay. The Tripadviser map in this listing, as seen on my computer at least, shows the wrong position. The hotel is down the end of Weld Street opposite Bedford Park, giving unrestricted views to Roebuck Bay. All the local features are in walking distance as this location is between China Town and the Town Beach and pier. Matso's is nearby and the markets are at the other end of Weld St. It's also just a 20 minute walk to the airport which we did because we did (just backpacks) for a morning flight because we had time. There is a bus stop very near The Conti and the half hourly service takes you through China Town and on to Cable Beach. The Conti itself is a wonderful blend of relaxed efficiency. All staff we met were skilled and friendly. There was no problem that they weren't happy to successfully deal with. We enjoyed the garden atmosphere in the alfresco dining area/pool area/garden area. It just represents Broome rather than what you might get from a modern build. We had two stays there and both rooms were of a high standard and had a private outdoor sitting area overlooking the garden and pool area. It was very relaxing. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Broome.

Staying at a YHA is always a calculated risk but with accommodation booked out in Broome months and months in advance (not to mention the outrageous prices charged in the dry season!!), I thought I would give it a go. Quite frankly, I’ve been mind-boggled by the amount of lazy, selfish individuals (generally late teens/20-somethings) who just leave all their dirty cups and dishes and empty food and drink containers all over the place as well as the filthy mess they leave the kitchen in. The free breakfast items are left open and uncapped or uncovered on the benches, with used cutlery covered in spreads dumped there for all the flies from the unclosed sliding kitchen door to feast on. The milk/butter is rarely returned to the fridge. They never wipe down the mess they make but generally leave it for others to do. This occurs on a daily basis. I can’t imagine the state of their homes! The one shining light in all this havoc is manager Shaun who is always so kind, helpful and accommodating. Apart from all that, the very basic rooms are fine, if minamilistic, and the shared bathrooms are cleaned daily (thank goodness!). There is free wifi but this doesn’t work in the rooms, even the private ones. I have to say this experience has been an eye-opener to say the least.

Great views of Roebuck Bay. Very clean & very spacious and located in a great location near Town Beach. Walking distance to Town Beach, China Town / town centre, markets, take away outlets, Matso’s brewery, bus stop – walkable to all the attractions, except Cable Beach, but it is easy enough to catch the bus to Cable Beach, with the bus stop right across the street. It is an older style resort, however very well maintained. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, and no request is too much trouble. The cleaning staff do an amazing job keeping the rooms clean. The living area is large & airy with a couch, coffee table, flat screen tv & dvd player. There are many tv channels to choose from. The kitchen is full sized and well equipped with pots, pans, crockery & glassware. Cooktop, oven, microwave, full sized fridge, dining table & chairs. The bedroom has a comfortable bed, clean linens, in-room safe, iron/ironing board, beach towels are provided. Loads of hanging & storage space. The air conditioning works well and the living area as well as bedroom both have ceiling fans. The bathroom is older style, but very clean & well maintained. Great lighting & a really good make up light. Good ventilation. Good shower pressure and the bathroom has a separate shower and bath tub. The hair dryer is on the very old style attached to the wall – but it worked. The property has a very large pool, gym & on-site laundry. Heaps of parking. Well located & clean and good value for money.

After reading some mixed reviews about Mantra Frangipani we were pleased to find all was good. We had a one bedroom apartment and it had absolutely everything we could need. The living area is spacious with a couch and TV, dining table, kitchenette with microwave and full sized fridge. The bedroom had a small desk area and large robe with a safe. The outdoor bathroom was fine and there is a basin/vanity, laundry (with washing machine), and toilet inside. Our room was clean and functional, nothing to complain about at all. There were two air-conditioners, one in the living area and one in the bedroom and both worked well. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely with palms and mango trees everywhere, and the choice of two pools. We didn't have a car because we were doing a few day trips but it would definitely be useful and there is plenty of parking onsite. The bus stops outside the resort and does a loop around Broome and Cable Beach. The town is quite spread out and you could walk to some places but it was very hot while we were there. Taxis are a bit hit and miss but the reception staff gave us a number for a good one.

Awesome resort! Very relaxed, non-commercial, great activity and attracts an interesting crowd of successful people from Perth, Broome and throughout Aus.
Make sure you do the Sunset Canapés & stay in a Family Eco Tent for the best position close to the beach and facilities.

Outstanding
CCurtisKevinJust fantastic to have a stand alone bungalow in a lush secluded setting. The room was well serviced with amenities (dishwasher, washing machine, Foxtel, webber bbq etc.) and made it feel like a home away from home. 😄
Pool was great to spend some time relaxing and the beach, fine dining restaurants and bus were all within walking distance. The really big screen over the road (Spinifex) was fantastic to watch the footy and is a great new place to eat and enjoy a drink.
Thanks Ross, appreciated that nothing was too much trouble and for contributing to a perfect stay in wonderful Broome. Give Coco's belly a scratch for me 😉

Pphoebeh30Booked through Luxury Escapes Voucher for 4 nights. Arrived one day late to check-in due to miscommunication, was not contacted by hotel to check whereabouts. Was greeted by helpful reception staff, and champagne. Staff did honour voucher inclusions ie. drink vouchers x8. Difficult to park to check in as not much space for car at reception. Secure parking was good, but the closest car park was still quite a walk from our room, especially in the Broome heat with a lot of luggage as we were on 6 week road trip and no assistance offered for luggage. Car park filled up quickly, and we were left with spaces even further away at times. Room was adequate, exhaust fan in bathroom very loud, ironing board broken (replaced upon request), no complimentary water in fridge, unlike other cheaper hotels. Good television, nice private balcony, good quality toiletries, otherwise unremarkable room. Breakfast was tasty, with good options. Beautiful to sit out overlooking the sunset at the sunset bar. Ocean pool nice, but food only served until 4pm, drinks only until 5:30pm despite plenty of guests still at the pool at 5:30. Advised to utilize sunset bar after this time. Unfortunately, not all restaurants open due to Covid/ off season. Good cocktail menu and quality, different menus at each bar. The resort was well staffed, and maintained, however seemed to be lacking the luxury resort feel we were expecting, especially for the price. Unfortunately it falls short in some areas and did not quite live up to expectations. Overall, unremarkable stay, nothing special.
GGuest UserWe have recently stayed at Seashells Resort, Cable Beach, in a 1 Bedroom King Apartment for 4 nights.
This resort is in a great location. It is walking distance to Cable Beach. There is a bus stop directly outside the resort to catch the bus into Broome town.
The apartment is very comfortable. The living area has air-conditioning & a ceiling fan, as does the bedroom.
The kitchen is well appointed with a washing machine, coffee machine, toaster & kettle, it also has a cooking facilities with hot plates & a microwave.
There is a full size fridge. A comfortable dining table & lounges to watch the TV. Outside has an outdoor setting & a ceiling fan.
There are outdoor communal BBQs with outdoor settings to enjoy your BBQ.
The pool area is very nice with a lot of pool lounges.
If you have a car there is parking available.
The only downside is the shower is in the bath, but this didn't detract from our stay.
We would definitely return to this resort.
Booked it as it was advertised on Qantas Hotels and assumed that meant it had food services and was a hotel as I did not have a car, was on my own and knew Broome was not a place to wander around after dark with lots of restaurants. Arrived early, was told the room would be ready at 12 ish. Was headed to the races. Room was not ready (although others that arrived with me were accommodated). Got ready in a steaming toilet with no air con. No food or mini bar snacks so rushed back to cafe at 4:20 before it was supposed to close at 4:30 to grab something for dinner (no Uber eats in Broome!) and it had shut at 4pm contrary to info supplied at check in. Luckily I grabbed a bag of chips at check in - dinner. Pretty depressing. Especially after coming off a Ponant cruise. The room I was put in was attached to another room via an internal door which was not particularly sound proof. Very poor value for money at $430 per night and so pleased I was only in there one night. Sept was not too hot but watch out if booking in summer as the air con is stuck at 24 C and there are no fly screens so you cannot sleep with fresh air as was warned about local security risks on check in. To keep the door locked at all times. No 24 service. Staff leave at 5pm then you are literally on your own which is not what I thought I had booked (hotel/staff/food/security etc around at all times). It felt like a fancy caravan park surrounded by other less fancy caravan parks.
We enjoyed our stay here and the hotel was nicely located (very near Cable Beach but not too near, and near a nice little corner store which even does lunches) I was surprised that the lifts were not working (not much of an apology on the notices) - and that we hadn't been notified in advance. While we had an offer to help with luggage, many people wouldn’t be able to manage the stairs even with luggage being carried, so I don't know what would happen if they arrived and found there were no lifts! Our room - a pool view room - was spacious and the bed was fine. There’s a big desk and a sofa. The lighting was a bit dim; and all the surfaces were very high - not great for a shorter person. I couldn't even reach the top hanging rail in the wardrobe! On the other hand there was heaps of storage space in both the bathroom and the bedroom. I had forgotten, until glancing just now at another review reporting the same issue, that the toilet bowl was stained; when I reported it the reception person looked at me as though I was mad (no apology - but it was fixed that day!) We liked the pool, but I think for safety the location of the steps within the pool should be made visible from the pool itself. While not heated, the pool temperature was comfortable, despite being 'winter'. We ate in the restaurant one night, and although the ambience was lovely, the choice was limited and the food wasn't great. But it was OK. The breakfast is probably the weakest aspect. The continental breakfast is OK, but with some standard things missing, such as orange juice, and the bread for toast was stale; and you can have a meal cooked to order (but you won't necessarily get what you asked for - and all I got when I commented on an error was a shrug!) The breakfast staff when we were there were offhand and unhelpful, unlike nearly all the other staff at the hotel. I did enjoy seeing the tiny fans rotating above the plates on the buffet! If you eat breakfast outside, beware the birds who will swoop on your food if you are not there. In general we would return, but hope that the breakfast experience improves, and that the room cleaning is supervised (and that the lifts are fixed!) If you are a bit claustrophobic, go for a top floor room, as the copious vegetation, while delightful, obscures the view in front of some of the lower floor rooms overlooking the pool.
Hhamillkeays_eTLDR: seems to be popular with long-stayers. Don’t expect help with issues unless on first-name basis with management, the rooms are “too cheap” for that. The thought behind the poor rating is that had there been no issues during my stay, I would have rated the place as average, and had my issue been dealt with differently I would have given the place a good rating. However, such is not the case. The rooms are as expected from the very low price, it’s just two bunk-beds in a small blue room. I had no issue with this since I tend to not spend much time in the hotel anyway. When I arrived, however, I soon met two girls who informed me that they weren’t staying in my room, in which four girls including me were staying, but they were going to move in soon and were for now just keeping their stuff in the room. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I didn’t bring it up with management at first. It did however bother me, because this meant that it wasn’t just four people coming and going in the room, sometimes very late, but six. I felt that paying full price for a room with two extra people in there hardly seemed fair, and so I told management. Management’s response was to huff that I hadn’t brought it up sooner, and then go looking for the other girls staying in my room to ask them about it. When they couldn’t find them they informed me that they would look into it and get back to me the next day. I was checking out the next day but that morning they still hadn’t spoken to the other girls (not sure why that had to be done first 🤷♀️). I left my bag behind reception to come get later and told them I’d be back at around 5pm. When I got back the person I had spoken to wasn’t there, but the person in reception told me that I would not receive any compensation because: I had already payed, the room was really cheap, and they couldn’t control if the girls did this kind of thing. I didn’t argue, because it was clearly not there decision to change. The fact that I had payed is irrelevant, and for a hotel to not be able to control how their rooms are used is worrying. As for the fact that the rooms are cheap, yes, for a four-bed dorm. I didn’t stay in a four-bed dorm however, but a four-bed dorm also used as a storage unit. I would like to add that the vibe here is very much that everyone stays for a long-time, so the staff and guests are close and seem to be friends. Perhaps the service is better once you get on a first-name basis with management. The pool area is very nice and the toilets are mostly clean. I didn’t use the kitchen so I can’t say anything about that.
Some good and bad features about the resort. Disappointing was that the management hasn't taken note of other reviews pointing out the bad state of the bathrooms. Our bathroom had limescale on the glass and the backing of the mirror was deteriorating and there was rotting skirting board. As mentioned by others the towers were only adequate and didn't have any fluff. The pool was lovely but cold and difficult to get into. We enjoyed the grounds we could see native animals in the evening. The staff were patchy only had to talk to 2 staff members one was lovely and the other very rude. It's about a 20 minute walk to the beach so not an ideal position
