Very cost-effective choice, the property has been closed, the boss also left the key, and also sent a bottle of Cava as a welcome gift

This is our absolute favourite accommodation of our recent trip to Spain. The welcome from Receptiomist Mar was lovely - it is so nice to be greeted and not have to do everything digitally! Our Studio was huge, with a neat little kitchenette that had everything to enable us to make good use of the fresh ingredients we bought at the Mercado. The patio doors opened fully and we were ale to sit and watch the world go by (and see cruise ships dock and depart) from out 3rd level vantage point, overlooking the Plaza España. At Plazuela del Carbon, you are within a 15 minute walk to all the sights, and right there in the historic part of Cafiz. We were able to walk to the bus/train/ferry station in under 10 minutes. The coffee bar in the lobby is a wonderful idea, providing us with hot and cold refreshments 24 hours a day. We give it 11 out of 10 ... we really enjoyed our stay.

An excellent location between the waterfront and the narrow streets of the old town. Our room, 6125, was on the second floor away from the lift. With the windows closed we had no noise, but were left reliant on a not very cool air conditioner fixed at 24 degrees - in my case a little too high for comfort. If I stayed again I might request an electric fan. We hugely enjoyed shared use of the third-floor outdoor terrace with views to the sea. Don't miss the sunset. Another huge bonus is the laundry with washer drier. No coins or any of that nonsense, although instructions are in Spanish. Inevitably I ended up the wash-that-never-ends but the receptionist was kind and helpful, even phoning a friend for advice. Also, you might need to buy your own laundry liquid. The low point was breakfast. Limited fruit and cereal and bread not to our taste. As we were staying for a few days stocked up at a supermarket. Cadiz itself is said to be struggling economically through loss of jobs and opportunities, with younger people leaving in search of these. However the place has a great spirit. The cathedral has a calm, warm and welcoming atmosphere after the rich glories of Granada, Cordoba and Seville.

This is an excellent hotel, especially if you want to park in a part of Cadiz where it's easier to drive and take a walk to the historical city centre. The rooms are very spacious and impeccably clean, you've got all of the amenities, including a safe box, the hotel is quiet, and breakfast is very good. The staff are also very nice and very friendly - random employees stop to ask you if everything is OK and if you are enjoying your stay. They have a limited number of (large) parking spaces in a garage they share with other businesses, so if you need to park, you have to pre-book it.

A fantastic space in a great location and super-helpful staff. Family room had everything we needed, but could I suppose have been bigger. Did not attempt to negotiate a larger space. Bathroom was very good with a great shower, super-necessary in the middle of summer. Lovely balcony onto side street from third floor. Only once had breakfast there, and was excellent. More importantly, the coffee shop next door was very good indeed, for cake and yes, coffee. Location in middle of high street gave us beaches left and right and a few minutes walk away only. A great many cafes, restaurants and tapas providers in close proximity. Turning left out of the hotel takes you within two minutes to a fantastic ice-cream parlour.

Booked last minute fantastic hotel right at the end of Victoria Playa right on the beach. Didn't eat there as we like to try local eateries. Bars just over the road to suit all tastes or a gentle stroll to other endless bars and restaurants. The Barman Tearo (sorry if spelt wrong) was amazing very attentive entertaining and polite. A 30 minute stroll takes you to the old town which is a must, beautiful Plazas and bars and tapas eateries on every crossroads. Went on the train to port Santa Maria (there is a ferry that leaves every 3 hours (May) 30 mins travel on each for around 10 euros for 2 persons. Must admit won't be returning to port Santa Maria found it a bit dated especially when you have been to Cadiz. All in all a great 4 day stay onto another hotel in the old town for the next 3 days will post another review soon. 😊

The 3 *** hotel hall makes you have a wrong idea about the state of the rooms, since it is beautiful and looks good in general. In our case the room is old in decoration and with a very worn general condition. the room door had one of the broken hinges and closing it was an odyssey. Double bed is requested and room with two beds. It has no nice views to the rear. The curtains of the bathroom give it an aspect of neglect and the extra mirror was almost hanging and had some molten bulb, smells in the bathroom. We found the buffet breakfast good and complete enough. The staff attends correctly. Much to improve for a price of more than € 100 per room per night.

We had a very nice, spacious twin bed room as were travelling as friends. Very clean. Got safe battery fixed and good as included safe. Had shower gel (although needed refilling!) shampoo, handwash and handcream. Had bath and shower arrangement, which I prefer. Also a minibar! Good shutters too to block out light and also aircon. TV modern and good size and free WiFi. Lighting in room nice too. Sink plug was faulty but a minor detail. Staff were very responsive and helpful. The buffet breakfast was first class. You can order also cooked breakfasts as you wish in addition. Only drawback is whilst parking is next door, it's charged for so we parked elsewhere FOC 13 mins walk away after Googling ”parking gratuito” in area. Thought there was a bar in hotel but there wasn't but no matter as place is heaving with nice, very reasonable bars and cafés. There's one just opposite if weather bad that is dirt cheap! All in all, I'd highly recommend. We stayed for 2 nights just to see nearby Cádiz. It's perfect for this whether by ferry, bus or train.

Outstanding
Great location, lovely apartment, bright & modern . Helpful host,we asked for glasses & they were supplied within minutes . Comfortable bed, sofa , lovely outlook, 3 balconies . Unfortunately there is a lot of renovation work going on so we hardly slept in 4 nights. The workmen started at 8 am with the cement mixer & drills. It was extremely loud . Being close to the flower plaza & main fish market was an advantage & disadvantage at night as the street was very busy & noisy. The clothes shop below played music all day. Rubbish is collected daily at 11pm every night. Street cleaning , washing cobbles at 5,30 am . The roof terrace was lovely in the afternoon to chill, chairs & sun loungers were provided. The bathroom had a bad smell of drains as did the lift !
+ ●Great central location. ●Stunning interior architecture, beautiful old building tastefully restored. ●Spacious comfortable bedroom/livingroom with stairs to bright kitchen and large sun balcony. ● Thoughtful owners have provided everything you need. Communal washing machine for clothes, spare toiletries, books and info re Cadiz, etc. ● Spotlessly clean in all areas. Place to dispose of rubbish and recycling. ●Large modern shower. ●Helpful staff. Clara gave us great restaurant recommendations, Casa Mantica the standout. Just go! ●Lovely quiet street with a supermarket a few paces away and only 5 minutes walk to blue flag Playa Caleta. (Negatives) Honestly can't think of one. One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. I have absolutely no connection to this business or Cadiz.
Beautiful boutique hotel which has been renovated to a very high standard. Booked 2 junior suites for a few nights away and had a fab time. Let’s start with the positives. Good location, round the corner from a busy local plaza which was a delight night and day! Immaculate and clean, house keeping do a fabulous job. Front reception team so lovely and helpful and the interior is just beautiful and chic. A few things that let it down. Fresh pastries and welcome drinks obviously available but we were not offered one as we came in which would have been nice. I emailed the hotel as it was my mums birthday treat and didn’t get any response to my request for fruit in the room. The spa is extra which for the price of the hotel and the very limited spa facility makes this feel a little cheap. We thought breakfast was included so do a double check as we had a 180 euro bill at the end of our stay - it was a nice breakfast but we probably would have explored more if we knew. That said it was a fabulous stay and I would recommend and Cadiz was a fab place for a few days !
GGuest UserA warm welcome from reception staff to a beautiful hotel with views of the ocean. Spacious clean room with terrace. Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner with plenty choice. A separate restaurant for a la carte. One and a half mile walk to the old part of Cadiz along the promenade. More information in the room about the Spa would have been useful. All in all a lovely modern hotel.
孙孙The hotel is highly recommended. The location is very good, you can go to all areas of the old town; the rooms are large, with a large terrace and sea views. The overall design of the room is amazing, but many details designers are still inexperienced.
The hotel's own breakfast is very good, standard English buffet; the restaurant can look directly at the Atlantic Ocean.
Small details such as wash basins and towels are ill-considered; toilets are not separated from wet and dry, sliding doors are also fragile, and when there is a sound, it is easy to wake others up at night. The adjacent terrace is not blocked, it is easy to get up in the morning to see the neighbor lying on the bed, still watching you
Ladies will love this type of room.
The pool opens until 4 pm, so I missed it perfectly and left the next day. The restaurant downstairs is good and the price will not be much more expensive than outside
It was absolutely terrible. We payed for sea view room in a beachfront hotel. What you really see (through incredibly dirty windows) is some construction site and a neighboring hotel (actually beach front), and a tiny bit of the beach. There are no rooms in this hotel with at least side sea view. What you really get is a busy square view (and noise). It's only getting worse at breakfast, someone's hair included. But when it becomes absolutely unbearable is when you try complaining about these things. We would have happily accepted a room downgrade and a spa voucher but no, they kept telling us they are not obliged to wash windows every day, it's not their problem that other guests slam doors, they can't refund pre-paid booking, which would be fine in 2-star and acceptable in 3-star. Overall, the amount of mental energy it takes to get the receptionist to agree with the claims is not worth it. Victoria hotel next door is just a tad more expensive but has real sea views with all the beachfront quietness.
本本地老虎The hotel is located next to the main road in the center of Gaddis. It is about 5-6 minutes drive from the Cathedral and the old town. There are many parking spaces around the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, the bed is good, and the shower is good.
GGuest UserI rated this 4/5 and the reason for this is that the breakfast was rubbish to be fair. Only a choice of orange and that was freshly squeezed but not to hand you had to order from the counter along with the coffee (no cranberry or apple juice) Not much of a choice at breakfast and waited over half an hour for a coffee. Other than that the place was very central and very clean, and I would go back but, next time maybe eat out for breakfast.
