Despite the C19 restrictions the trip has been amazing. The staff is gentle, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, car park included and hotel decoration full of details and interesting stories.

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and characterful. Room on top floor, no guest lift but very old building. Breakfasts good especially cooked options but perhaps limited non cooked ( eg no fruit salads/ chopped fruits). I was on my own so no problem but stayed in ( and paid for) double queen room where access for second person to the bed would have been difficult as the other side of bed was underneath low sloping ceiling. Worth checking if two of you! Bar very buzzy and comfortable and restaurant served good pub food. Excellent location between Castle and Marina. Would recommend.

Excellent food...Bendigedig called in Sunday afternoon, had crispy belly pork..my girlfriend had the steak and potato pie both were delicious and yummy, when I'm next in Caernarfon I'll definitely be coming here again couldn't fault any part of the meal . Lovely oldy worldy pub

Was very please with accommodations. The rooms very clean and updated. Pub and restaurant were top notch. The food and Service was on point! Lots of local folks, so you know it’s good. Cannot beat the location. I’d highly recommended Black Boy inn to all!!

A very good hotel with excellent staff, excellent breakfast included in the rate, and very convenient to the castle, river walks, shops and restaurants. A word of warning, be very careful when submitting your car registration number if parking behind the castle.

We booked for 2 night after coming during lockdown for a meal.. and the hotel was recommended.. we stayed in room 72 in the townhouse round the corner.. the room was large v clean lovely large bed and a fab bathroom .. a walk to the blackboy in the morning for breakfast was no problem.. breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and staff were great .. we also had lunch and an evening meal there lovely cosy pub excellent staff couldn't do more we wud definitely recommend and stay again

We have just checked out after having stayed just one evening. We had room 24 which was perfect. Fantastic large double bed, bath and shower, tv, iron, hairdryer, coffee, tea, and best thing ever, a fan ! Plenty of plugs in the room as well. We ate in the bar in the evening which was lovely. A very extensive menu, reasonably priced and quick service. Breakfast was also brilliant. I only wanted bacon and mushrooms so I could make myself a sandwich. The waiter realised what my plan was and insisted the chef prepare my sandwich in the kitchen. The food was so hot. Served straight from the kitchen with no hanging about. Amazing service and so friendly. We honestly cannot recommend the hotel enough. Everything was perfect. Definitely we will be returning. We’d like just to say Thank you to Alow ( I hope I’ve spelt it right ! ) Alow greeted us on reception. She was so friendly and just lovely with a great sense of humour. We will see you all again soon. Thank you.

Ate at the venue. It's a characterful place in the middle of town that is a lot larger than you think. The menu was extensive and the portions plentiful (I couldn't finish my Welsh pie, even though it was delicious). Everyone in the party enjoyed our visit.

We had room 12, bed was the most comfortable we’d ever had in a hotel. The staff were very welcoming and gave us excellent information about the hotel, local parking etc. We ate in the evening. Again, staff were great. Food was delicious. Breakfast cooked fresh to order every morning to an excellent standard. The rooms are warm but a fan was provided. Got lost in the corridors several times, beautiful old building full of character. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend as a base for the area.
