This hotel " Hotel Indigo Cagnes-Sur-Mer "'s exterior in real life looks like the picture on their website, yet the interior has a left a lot to be desired. The location is a bit off from the main hustle & bustle in central Nice and it takes at least 15-20 by UBER to get to Nice city centre where the real touristy life is happening. The hotel is very basic, the glass door leading to the balcony has finger prints, the bed is too soft, the air con is not cool enough for very hot days in Nice. The lobby staff at our stay were functioning normally but you would not say they were outstanding, nothing too warm or welcoming. More like an upgraded youth hostel rather than what we expected as a 4* hotel. The room has a balcony that overlooks the streets and is in a safe and quiet area. They have a bar and a restaurant but we were never tempted to try them. They also say they have shuttle bus to the nearby beach and also shuttle bus service to the airport, but they never mentioned that it requires 48 hours to book the airport shuttle not until we wanted to ride in it and then found we were told we just not eligible as we only stayed for one night and did not reach the 48 hour prior booking requirement. And glad that we only stayed for one night because everything they could offer was just very basic. One thing that staunchly stood out as poorly designed is the bathroom door. It is a brown glass door that is all see through, so there is absolutely zero privacy when one takes a shower. We asked if they could have another room with a proper door and they told us every bathroom door is of brown glass and therefore is transparent. They sounded very nonchalant as if we were too difficult, but when we asked for a solution, they then told us a lot of other guests had the same problem and the solution is to provide guests with a bedsheet for us to figure out how we could make a ' curtain ' out of it. So we realised that we were not the only ones to have voiced this crucial concern, then why hasn't anyone in the management bothered to do something to rectify this very bad situation? The answer is simple---merely shows how indifferent the whole management body is. They just can't be bothered and they don't care. Hotel Indigo Cagnes-Sur-Mer provided us with a very mediocre room that yields mediocre comfort, it displays mediocre interior, and gives guests robotic service. Bad bathroom design is especially leaving a bad impression because other than the useless transparent brown glass, the bathtub has only erected a 1/2 glass shield that does not prevent water from splashing out, so taking a shower is not relaxing and afterwards you need to wipe the wet floor for the next user. The water pressure of the shower is weak, shower head only has two jet settings. The water drainage is very bad cos the water fails to drain off smoothly and it is gross to be standing in a pool of dirty soapy water as you shower. In this day & age it is surprising that this hotel can still get a 4* rating. All these very average if not substandard issues really do not do Nice, an exciting and pretty city, justice. So this hotel does not live up to their claim as 4* and we will seek elsewhere when we visit enticing Nice again.

Cagnes is a good choice for the Cote d'Azur. It takes half an hour to drive to Cannes or Nice. The hotel is in Cagnes, and the appearance is very beautiful. There is a civic square at the door. There are two parking lots beside the square. The outer one is free from 6 pm, but you have to grab it, otherwise it will be a paid parking lot. There are French and Asian restaurants and supermarkets around, which is quite convenient, especially for returning the car to Nice Airport. The hotel was upgraded for free with a corner balcony, which is quite good. The hotel facilities are good. There is a restaurant and bar on the first floor. The restaurant also regularly launches French set meals, which is not bad.

The hotel facilities are fairly new. The room balcony is comfortable and large. But the location is a bit bad. But I can't understand that the bathroom door is glass and there is no curtain. It's a bit awkward for family travel.

Very satisfactory hotel, which left us with wonderful memories of our trip to the south of France. There is a balcony for dinner, and the hotel's meals are also very good, cheap and delicious.

Very suitable for self-driving stay, about 10 kilometers from the center of Nice, but Nice is surrounded by self-driving, very cost-effective, the room size is also very comfortable

The room was very clean and was big enough for three people with children! It's a few minutes' walk to the center of the old town. It's a very peaceful, beautiful and romantic place!

Super clean and big hotel! Willing to come again next time. It would be perfect if there were more hot food for breakfast. It is very convenient to get to Vence, the transportation is very convenient, and the surrounding area is clean and tidy.

This is a hotel in Nice. The rooms are very big and very cost-effective. We rented a car and the hotel has parking spaces, but it costs 20 euros per day. There is also a parking lot next to it, which is free at night.

There is no need to stay here. If the price is 2000, I really recommend you to stay in Nice or Cannes! This place is extremely poor value for money. The room is very small and there are many photo scams. I don't know what kind of professional photographer can take such a small and fresh photo of the swimming pool on the roof. When you really go to the swimming pool, you will find that it is a pile of papers. There are no restaurants around. It's very desolate! Don't stay here. Back, back, back!

This is a great hotel with a table on the balcony. It was a shame that the refrigerator wasn't cold.

Very new hotel, free parking nearby at night, nearby residential area, very quiet, modern room, big enough, with balcony, nice to have breakfast on the balcony. You can walk to the top of the mountain town, very beautiful.

The room is relatively large for Europe and has a large balcony. Very clean and tidy. The waiter's attitude is also very good. Water is delivered every day, which is also rare in France. Even if there are mosquitoes, the waiter doesn't know what to do. There seems to be no such thing as mosquito coils in France. The breakfast is also good, standard for a four-star hotel. The facilities are relatively new. After all, the hotel was opened in 2021 and is larger than the hotels in Paris. The overall feeling is good. There is also a convenience store next to it, as well as a barbecue. Very close to the town's flea market and other shops. It felt very safe too. 14 minutes walk to the train station.
