The hotel facilities are top-notch. The swimming pools include both cold and heated options, and the sunset views are absolutely stunning. There are plenty of restaurant choices nearby, and you can also participate in a variety of nature and ecological activities!

Although the hotel has been open for a while, the rooms are well-maintained and don't look old or dated. It's only about a 5-minute walk to the Reef Fleet Terminal, which is really convenient for taking a cruise to the Great Barrier Reef – you can even sleep in a bit longer in the morning! Since breakfast wasn't included with the room, we added it for two days when we checked in. It was around $40-something per person. I have to say, the breakfast was pretty mediocre, both in terms of variety and taste. Even the tables and chairs weren't as well-kept as the rooms; the chair I sat on was wobbly. Overall, the hotel is pretty good. The location is convenient, and the rooms are comfortable. There's a decent Italian restaurant on the way to the terminal too.

The Hilton Hotel is pretty good. The rooms are spacious, the views are nice, and the breakfast is also good. It's very quiet and super close to the pier. There are many great restaurants next to the Shangri-La Hotel. It's a great choice for a resort hotel.

Great location! There's a restaurant downstairs right by the sea, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the pier. Chinatown is also within walking distance.

There was some mysterious music playing constantly in the hallway, haha. The view from the balcony was also great! It was a relief that there were many staff members who could speak Japanese.

The location is great, right by the port, making it super convenient for island hopping tours. The room was quite spacious and had a balcony, which was lovely for enjoying the breeze and views. However, the facilities are a bit dated. The breakfast was Western style and quite basic, definitely not quite up to the usual Hilton standard.

The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but it wins on brand and location, right next to the pier. Boarding boats, jet skis, and the Nautilus helicopter 🚁 are all within walking distance, and the night market is also very close. We checked in with three people, and the front desk said that a 15-year-old child would be charged extra for an additional bed. However, the front desk only collected the money and didn't inform housekeeping to add extra slippers and towels. The service awareness needs improvement. When the extra bed was added, the housekeeper moved the main bed in the room, revealing a dirty carpet underneath that hadn't been cleaned in a while. I have to criticize the hotel for this. Neither of these issues should be mistakes made by a Hilton brand.
