Large rooms with great amenities. Helpful reception staff (leaving bags for day trips etc). Only issue was that it’s a 20-30 minute walk to the main *****. Other than that, great place to stay and great value!

The man in the high vis showed us around, he was lovely and really helpful. Good price, good location. Only thing was that the shower curtain was mouldy

Parking is a problem otherwise a nice clean hotel in a convenient location.

Very convenient location for travelling to the airport on my last night in cairns. Decent pool, easy check in and out. Room was nice enough and felt safe.

I stayed at Hotel Tropiq in mid-October 2023 and had a good stay. Positives - great location with nearby cafe, Indian restaurant, and British restaurant. Only a $20 taxi to the Pier/Marina or 20 minute walk into the city. The reception staff were super friendly/helpful. Pleasingly, the room perfectly suited my solo fishing trip too. Negatives - Hotel Tropiq was very basic/ghetto with a peculiar room layout. The beds were on rollers and hard to sleep on. Windows and sliding door were very dodgy. No insect screens on one window! It was certainly a budget style of accommodation. In future, I will stay somewhere nicer if my girlfriend joins me

Clean tidy room smelt fresh great staff always helpful and pleasant

Had a brilliant stay here after a hectic couple of weeks on the east coast. Room clean and comfortable, shower was amazing and the staff were so nice and accomodating. Checked in later on in the evening and was quick and simple just phone up and you have your keys in 5 minutes. 100% recommend

Very basic two-star hotel. If you have a budget, I suggest you pay a little more and live better.

The real rubbish photos cannot be said to be exactly the same as the real thing. They can only be said to have nothing to do with each other. I booked 4 nights and didn’t want to stay for the last three nights. The hotel refused to refund me. Finally, I contacted Ctrip customer service for 2 days and was refunded for 2 nights. , after calculating more than 1,000 per night, I might as well stay at a Hilton. There was no quilt in the room. I slept with the sheets covered all night. There was no one at the front desk at night. Is this a hotel? I will change hotels the next day.

Big room. Friendly staff. Changing rooms worked immediately and without any problems (too close to the street). Good beds, slept well.

The room is relatively simple, but clean and hygienic; the location is more convenient and there are more parking spaces. The barbecue grill downstairs is convenient to use. You can ask the front desk for cutlery, forks, bowls and plates. It doesn't look like a restaurant. You can BBQ by yourself.
