The room is old, but the location is right next to Liberation Square. If you like nostalgia, this is a good choice, where you can see antiques collected by the owner from decades or even hundreds of years ago.

The hotel is average, the owner is very friendly. The location is very good, in the city center, next to the Egyptian Museum, the Nile River is right next to it, and it is very convenient to take a cruise on the Nile River at night (50 Egyptian pounds per person).

The hotel is located in the city center, five minutes from Tahrir Square and a ten-minute walk from the Egyptian Museum. So the location here is okay. Our window was in the opposite direction from the street, so it was quite quiet (although the place where the windows looked out could hardly be called a courtyard). Friendly staff (although they seemed a little sleepy). Breakfast is standard (scrambled eggs, bread, butter, tea, coffee). The furniture is old, the walls are shabby. The state of the plumbing is terrible. The elevator does not work and its appearance causes a slight shock. For three days the room was not cleaned even once. The main advantage of the hotel is the friendly owners and the balcony from the dining room overlooking the street, from which you can watch the noisy nightlife of the Egyptian capital in the evening.
