If you want to be deceived, this is the correct place!!!!! We booked and in our arrival, we were informed there was no room for us! All I wanted was me refund to get another hotel: today is October 16th and passed almost a week since it happened.. so far, no refund!! This is a scam.. all they did when then informed there were no rooms, was laugh!! Unrespectful.. untrustful..!! Do not do it with yourself if you want to be treated as human!! Booking, *******.. you should take them out of your list if you are trustful!!!!! Needed to pay a lot of money to get a hotel nearby. Want to know more: my wife is pregnant! Really.. unbelievable!!!!

This little hotel called the Museum Plaza is great value for money, the staff are fantastic, reception all speak English, breakfast is good and so central Cairo (some would say too central) across from the museum. Mustafa and the hotel staff are friendly and nothing is a problem. Rooms are not tiny and there is ample room. Our room 204 had a balcony and gave us great entertainment watching the square of a night. For those who like a tipple there's a shop called Drinkies 5mins walk away. If you want all the bells and whistles this is not the place for you. If you want clean, tidy, good staff and a great $ value then this is the place. I'll post pics and remember I did say central and I did not say tranquil!

Worst hotel I have ever booked in my lifetime.. they allotted one person room when booking was done for 2 adults. Allotted room was half the price which we paid for. The hotel staff neither tried for better room allotment, nor acknowledged the allotment of wrong room. This is the tiniest hotel room I have ever seen, for which the hotel charged 136$ for 2 nights. misleading pictures on hotel booking sites.. they refused breakfast for my wife as well in spite of booking for 2 adults. They are cheaters and scamsters.. with sub standard linen, tiny rooms, fake pricing and allotment for online bookings.. robbed me for 68$.. plz don't book this hotel ever.. I booked basis good reviews but they ruined my entire Egypt tour.

I would definitely not recommend this hotel. The pictures shown online are very misleading. Rooms are too much small like a store room. They took the booking for two people and gave room for one person. Also they refused breakfast for the second person and served only to one. They take higher charges and allot rooms of lesser value and then say we can't help, we are fully occupied. We agreed to adjust also...but they even dared to refuse breakfast to us. I am also uploading room pictures to show how actually the room is.

Si eres una persona con dificultad para dormir, este no es tu hostel: está situado al lado de una calle principal y el ruido de los coches es incesante (todo el rato los coches están pitando). Sólo nos alojamos una noche (por suerte) y fue terrible, apenas pudimos dormir y descansar. En cuanto a la limpieza, aceptable siguiendo los estándares de Egipto.
