Valentin Star Menorca - Adults Only

Overall experience great. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Meals both breakfast and dinner buffet style. Plenty choices for everyone, both quantity and quality brilliant. Definitely recommend this hotel. Location is right on the marina. Ideal for a do nothing holiday or even if you love walking as plenty of coastal treks.

I checked in on 17th October 2024,was greeted by a nice friendly receptionist,very welcoming,with a nice cold bottle of water and a cold wet refreshing flannel as did all guests due to heat,went up to my room absolute stunning,celing fan and also aircon, safe in room,lovely bathroom,power shower,music through the speakers in bathroom,which U can turn up or down or off with a flick of a switch,nice soundproof room,and balcony over looking the harbour so nice to wake up to,room is cleaned every day to,the restaurant wow so nice with large choice at breakfast 8am to 11am and dinner 6.30pm to 9pm,lovely food beautiful hot and cold selection and a chef at hotplate,the waiting staff outstanding,so nice welcoming,the service outstanding. There is a massive swimming pool to warm and just bliss plus massive whirlpool a nice relaxing time,lots of seating round pool area,and waiting staff taking orders for drinks or food.There is evening entertainment to in hotel such fantastic time,overall I will give a 100% happy time I had so would love to come back again top hotel in Menorca,with harbour and bars restaurants and supermarkets and more.I would so recommend this hotel and its an adults only hotel as well,happy times and memories🥰🥰

Great late season week in Menorca Loved the whole Menorca trip with TUI, from the start at our local Norwich Airport to the unexpected quality and friendliness of the Valentine Star hotel and its staff, not to mention the remarkable cleaning regime at the hotel... Absolutely Spotless. Our Tui trip to Mao was absolutely excellent mainly because of the Tui Tour Guide (Sorry I didn't take her name) but a mature lady from Northern England who went to Menorca in the 1980's and married over there. She was just a great minefield of information with a brilliant ability to tell it in a way that kept all interested. We were lucky with good weather for late in the season and took full advantage of Hotel Valentine Star's excellent Restaurant and just tremendous Chefs and front of house staff. All in all a great find and we will be back again next year.

This is our third time staying at this most wonderful hotel. We absolutely love it's location which is next to a vibrant marina which boasts many restaurants, supermarkets and is also very close to a couple of beaches and a lighthouse. We have always received such a warm welcome from the moment we arrive and we were grateful to be allocated our chosen room the last two times! Our accommodation is perfect for us, near to the reception, restaurant and the poolside. It is a very large room with an indoor and outdoor sitting area and has a sumptuous bed to give us a perfect night's sleep. The room is cleaned daily to a very high standard and the restaurant provides us with a variety of exquisite food that we are never disappointed with. Many thanks to all the kitchen, restaurant and bar staff because they all go out of their way to provide excellent service. We greatly appreciate the entertainment that is available for us during the day and at night. We can't thank the hotel staff enough for all their effort, hardwork and energy that they each offer to ensure our happiness and well-being.

Our second visit to Valentin Star and we will definitely be back next year. An amazing hotel, and every single one of the staff is a credit to it. To mention just a few, Javier, Oscar, Brian, and all the reception staff. Every single person is so professional and helpful. The food is so good here, breakfast and dinner has a huge selection, vegetables, salad, cooking stations where it’s cooked in front of you. If you wish to have dinner outside on the Marina side or the garden side then there is a €5 charge per table, but hey you’re on holiday so why not go for it. The evening entertainment is second to none, the best in any hotel we have visited. Tribute acts every night, our favourites were Michael Jackson and Abba. The hotel is situated right on the edge of the Marina which has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops as well as supermarkets. The beach is about five minutes walk away. Criticisms ; Absolutely None.

Visited the adult's only Valentin Star in Cala'n Bosch for the first time after recommendation from friends. Following advice from our friends, we requested a specific room or their adjacent rooms and was given that on arrival - lovely view overlooking the harbour. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The professionalism and courtesy of the staff is second to none, from the cleaners to the managers. We stayed on a half-board basis and can say without question, this was the best cuisine we have experienced in any hotel. The choice and quality of the buffet breakfast and evening meal was exceptional. We take exception to any hotel where you have to get up at silly o'clock to reserve a sunbed. This is not the case at the Valentin Star. There are plenty of sunbeds no matter what time of day you venture down to the lovely pool. The nightly entertainment was very good and we spent more time in the hotel entertainment lounge on an evening than any other hotel we have visited. The drinks were a little pricier than outside but the resort in general was more expensive than other places we have visited in Spain. You can put any drinks or snacks you buy onto your room account and pay the balance off at any time. We paid off our bill every few days during our 2-week stay and the bill was exactly spot on each time. The only criticism of the way the hotel carries out this procedure is that you do not get a receipt when you purchase anything in this manner, but as I said, the final amounts were exactly correct each time. Little things make this hotel stand out. For example: Fruit available in reception, the bringing round of hors d'oeuvres at lunch time, a small glass of cava in the afternoon and chocolates left in your room in the evening. As mentioned, all staff without exception were excellent so it seems unfair to name anyone in particular. However we'd like to pass on our thanks to Javier and Oscar in the bar. Also a special mention to Rocio in the restaurant - regards from Mr and Mrs Crane. Thank you to you all.

Been to Valentin star quite a few times now hotel still as clean in all areas. Beds very comfortable. All staff are helpful and friendly it was nice to see some familiar faces Vincent and some of the other waitresses and waiters. Missed Francessca hope you got better quickly. Nice to to Estevie and Dani in reception. Food very good this year good selection and hot. Hopefully will be back next year,

Loved everything. Ideal late summer holiday destination and perhaps it says it all that even after a long, hot and busy summer, all the staff were friendly, up beat and still totally focused on providing a brilliant holiday. Well located around the marina with only a short walk to a great beach. Half board was great given the high quality of food, well prepared from wide choice, served by very professional waiting staff. By all accounts though if there b&b even in October plenty of restaurants around the marina are open, buzzing and good value. Back at the Valentin Star the waterside cocktail offers chilled out comfortable seating and great music. Cocktails a bit pricey though at €10/11. The entertainment each evening was truly fantastic. Professional acts where many would have been great recording stars themselves back in the Tamla day. All generating a great atmosphere to get you up dancing or sitting back watching the show. Bar staff on the go all the time - nothing too much trouble. Happy, smiley people. Lydia and Pierre the entertainment leads are fun, engaging and fully involved. Guests clearly love them. Rooms around the pool are large and pleasant, some sunnier than others. House staff keep rooms clean and efficiently made up. Best to take your own toiletries though and water only provided at start of holiday. Possibly would be topped up on request. Reception staff always pleasant and helpful. Big thanks to Carmen who made excellent suggestions for a route around the island in the car hired for a day. Helpfully booked at reception. Car hire was well worth doing but we took the bus into Ciutadella from the bus stop behind the pharmacy. Only €2.05 each way - No 65 straight to the bus station right next to the cathedral. More scenic than Mao and a must do if nothing else. Popular markets though not on the Saturday we went. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else than the Valentin Star if returning to lovely Menorca.
