Cabot Cala Ferrera

We went to this hotel for a week and got a sea view room , the view was excellent and the house keeping was brilliant. The reception workers were always very helpful in particular a German woman whose name I didn’t catch alongside the bar staff being very friendly. I would rate this 5 stars as it was a brilliant stay in a great location. If I had one complaint it would be the lack of a fridge inside the room.

Very friendly staff made us welcome from the off , such a perfect location ❤️❤️❤️ drink lovely food nice always something to eat , this is quiet a nice little hotel not massive so if your looking somewhere small perfect, kids loved the pool and the entertainment lady . On the all nice hotel 🏨

It says that it is 3 stars, but it is not. The best impression is from the breakfast and location. the beach is nearby, good for children. poor choice of food, it is not tasty and salty. Room is small, not kettle and fridge. The room resembles a hospital. The hotel needs renovation. Beach towels for deposit. I do not recommend this hotel.

Let me start by saying if you’re reading this in 2025 the hotel will be very different - it is undergoing renovations and will be different BUT that doesn’t change the quality of what this hotel do well. Yes, the rooms are basic but the air conditioning worked and every room had a balcony, however, what this hotel had going for it was the location - right on the beach side with steps down to the Cala and access to the boat tours (Starfish) at the edge of the hotel. It was a short walk to Cala D’Or and a choice of restaurants. Another selling point of this hotel is the food (which I hope they don’t change). The all inclusive package included Estrella lager and a lovely sangria (more like Tinto de Verano if you’ve been near the Granada region of mainland Spain) plus branded soft drinks and a range of local alcohols. The food was fresh and healthy with an extensive salad bar and lots of Spanish dishes. Don’t expect nuggets and chips, it’s much better than that. For fussy eaters there is pasta every meal, Finally the staff are wonderful. Informative, helpful, professional and the hotel was spotlessly clean. When a young lady collapsed at the pool bar during the day I couldn’t fault the bar staff who (a young lady herself) got ice and water quickly to help me administer first aid before the on-site lifeguard arrived for support. Sarah is also wonderful and engaged visitors of all ages and nationalities. The only down side was the pool which dyed everything green. Every bikini ended up h green and the tops I wore to cover up. This has not come out despite using vanish. More alarmingly other blonde patrons of the hotel ended up with green hair. Thankfully all my family are brunette. This apparently comes out with ketchup and none were too bothered by it, just take a cheap bikini instead of the £60 one I took! Overall a wonderful hotel!

My mum and I had the most amazing time staying here, we had a sea facing room on the top floor which gave us an amazing view. The staff are all so friendly and the food was delicious. Big shout out to the beautiful Sara who works so hard to put a smile on everyone’s faces every day! And a big thank you to Maru for being so lovely and making our stay unforgettable!
