Somewhere Inn Calabogie

We came to this beautiful spot for my husbands daughter's wedding. We had the whole place for the 3 days and it was AMAZING. The rooms were beautiful, the area gorgeous, spent time in the sauna, relaxed in the big tub. The weather was rainy and the staff went out of their way for all our needs. They were so warm and caring, answering all our questions quickly and providing what we needed. They even bartended for the cocktail hour before dinner. Kind, loving, wonderful people, beautiful place. Would recommend and stay again in a heart beat! Thank you all for helping making this weekend so special for our family!

This converted motel is just wonderful. The rooms are very tastefully designed, some with large bathtubs, others with bunkbeds all with cozy gas burning stove to keep warm ( if needed). The staff are amazing. They are very attentive with great communication. They are there to get you whatever you need and the small lobby doubles as a wine tasting / wine bar with activities at night to keep you on your toes. The location is very close to Calabogie Village and great restaurants as well as Calabogie peaks so perfect for whatever you need

This small hotel should be renamed No one Inn! Don’t expect a personal service or anyone to greet you! If you can’t do IT this is not for you. Everything to do with the booking is automated. Negatives. Not any element of customer service. Other guests had to help us find our room. No complimentary water. No toiletries in bath area and those in shower were fixed to the wall. Positives. Lovely decor, comfortable large bed. Clean. I would not stay again as I prefer to chat to hotel staff when I arrive somewhere after a long drive. Local staff are usually the font of all local knowledge. A trip to the local store helped fill in the gaps with good advice on local restaurants and the area

This was our 2nd time here, the location is great, close to a music venue, hiking trails and some great restaurants. Love what they have to offer, will definitely be back,

The check-in and check-out process at the hotel was smooth and straightforward. The hotel has a charming ambiance and features a cozy lounge equipped with an Apple TV. Unfortunately, the converter was missing during our stay, but you can still use AirPlay from your device. For those who might get hungry, it's advisable to bring your own snacks. The hotel's food options are limited, and there aren't many dining spots within easy walking distance. We did encounter a small cleanliness issue with stray hairs found in our room and bathroom. However, this was a minor concern, as the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. To ensure extra cleanliness, you might consider bringing some cleaning wipes and a swiffer sweeper. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant stay with a few considerations for future guests. It's important to mention that there might be a discrepancy between Expedia's payment information and the hotel's actual billing practices. ******* indicated I had paid half to reserve the room but never took the money. So, I was surprised when I was charged the full amount the day of check in. This is more of an ******* issue than a Somewhere Inn issue. I’d recommend ******* learns the value of providing clear communication on their communication platforms of how payments are handled. I also recommend double-checking your bank statements to avoid any surprises regarding payment.
