Chateau Bleu Resort

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Chateau Bleu Resort in Calamba, Laguna. The staff were attentive, the rooms were spotless, and the pool and hot springs were fantastic. We’re already planning a return trip for my husband’s birthday in June with friends. However, we did encounter some issues upon check-in; we had to wait an hour due to a faucet repair, and the water initially ran brown in our room. Despite these setbacks, we still enjoyed our stay overall. It’s worth noting that we found a better deal on *******, saving 800 pesos even with the hotel’s promotional rate.

A peaceful and laidback resort that’s very clean and welcoming with friendly staff. Located just off the main Manila S Road, traffic noise is quite low. Only had breakfast in the resort but quality of food (Filipino breakfast) was good. Nice big swimming pool and an indoor hot spring water jacuzzi to enjoy the natural geothermal water from this volcanic area

A really nice place with very friendly helpful staff. A great place to stay if you just want to relax and unwind. Amazing swimming pool and not in a tourist area so you can easily experience the local life.

Chateau Bleu is not a 5 star hotel but there's a warm homey feel to it that makes you want to stay longer. It's like a huge bed and breakfast with nice added amenities. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 day 2 night stay with my husband and two young children. We stayed at the main building of the hotel. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in time but they gladly welcomed us to our room since they were able to prepare it early. The staff are accomodating and kind. The management is thoughtful about our needs. The room was not big but the benefit of staying in the building is that the service was fast. We ordered for food, ice buckets and other needs and it was taken to us in record time. The room is also very clean. I also love the fountains and well maintained garden around the pool. The hotel itself is not that big but the pool is very large. The temperature of the pool is just right and the surroundings complements the entire feel of the place - you have a view of Mt. Makiling and at night, a blanket of stars to look up to. There's also a hot spring indoor jacuzzi. A bit hot but tolerable - even for my smallest kid. We checked in during the Holy Week so breakfast was a hybrid of ala carte and buffet. The hotel is a stone throw away from Calamba City and we went to church and museo ni Rizal. There is also a lot of places to visit given the University Town of UP Los Banos.

We got the cabana type of room with the jacuzzi pool in front. Staff was very helpful. The place has that quiet feel, but it needs more work. Suggest to have the following: 1) refrigerators inside the rooms - bring with your insulated water bottles and ask for ice. Fill it with water in case you need to hydrate. 2) Food choices are average, you are better off ordering out. Instead of pre-cooked eggs with the daily breakfast just opt for the freshly cooked from the egg station. 3) Wifi is poor even if you go for your LTE it will not sustain a good connection. You will definitely not be reachable by Teams or Zoom, but also say goodbye to IG or FB.

Staff are very accomodating and responsive from booking until checkout. We booked a cabana which is spacious. Notable thing is that their towels smells really good, that give us an overall impression how clean the facility is. The water temperature in the main pool is optimum, we have our 5 month old baby with us and he enjoy swimming in it. The jacuzzi water temperature can also be adjusted per request. Perfect for afternoon and night dip. Its quiet and relaxing, perfect for family bonding. Cons: There was an event on the night of our stay which is a bit noisy at the late hour of the evening though we just slept through it without much problem Please expand your kitchen selection so that guest do not need to get food outside.
