Fui para un fin de semana de descanso pero no pude descansar, dormir es imposible. Desperté con mi cuerpo lleno de hormigas pequeñas. Estaban por todos lados pero sobretodo en la cama. Intenté quitarlas y volver a dormir pero fue inútil. Volvieron cada vez.

Rooms are awful no aircon and very out dated crawling with ants sink hanging off the wall shower very small. Balcony door broken we complained on 3 day someone was fixed.Food very basic ood basic but my son had eaten something chips pasta meat.(plates were sometimes dirty) Bar manager very miserable but usual guy Ciscu is lovely. Location is realy good. So close to the beach which was spotless. Supermarket right opposite with reasonable prices. Shops and restaurants about 5mins walk. We also paid 10 euro tax for 2 adults. Don't need to pay for children. Pool is OK kids had a good time good location next to beach and bars. We met lovely people so still had a good time Wouldn't stay here again.

El hotel está bien para lo barato que es en estas fechas. El personal tiene bastante aguante. Ya que los clientes que tienen suelen ser británicos y con todo incluido. Se creen con derecho a hacer lo que deseen y algunos de ellos son impresentables

People PLEASE PLEASE, read the reviews that states DONT GO THERE, honestly I stayed from 03/07/2024-10/07/2024 In the past I’ve chanced and gone and stayed at hotel that had a few bad reviews, but turned out ok!, if you’re going, buy a big fan

Rooms are awful no aircon and very out dated crawling with ants sink hanging off the wall shower disgusting very small. Big hole in toilet ceiling. Food basic but kids will eat something chips pasta meat.(plates were sometimes dirty) Bar manager very miserable but usual guy Juan is lovely. Bar manager huffs and puffs when u order as if he is paying for it. Pool is OK kids had a good time good location next to beach and bars. We met lovely people so still had a good time Wouldn't stay here again.

Hotel was filthy the room was disgusting! Bathroom plugs strangely making a noise!! health and hygiene needs to inspect the kitchen. Food was disgusting. Also staff serving underage kids alcohol. It was like being at Alcatraz for 2 weeks! I do not recommend this hotel 26/6/24 to the 10/7/24

Whole hotel is spotlessly clean but very worn in places. Food was good. Always something for us to eat. Drinks were OK. 1 choice of larger in a can which was realy nice. The soft drinks not so nice apart from the sprite. The staff were very helpful and very busy. Entertainment is karaoke twice a week and a pool table. Location is realy good. So close to the beach which was spotless. Supermarket right opposite with reasonable prices. Shops and restaurants about 5mins walk. No big inflatables allowed in the pool but you can jump in as crazy as you want. No lifeguard on duty. Not enough sunbeds around the pool but plenty of chairs. We had a pool and sea view. Air con is an extra 20 euro a night. Booking thos in advance is recommended before you go. If your planning on going out for the day you can order a packed lunch but has to be done the day before. We found the hotel to be quiet and very good for the price we paid. Maids came daily if you needed them. All in all we had a lovely holiday. (Top tip) take an extention cable as there's only 2 sockets. 1 for the t.v ( we never watched it) and 1 in the bathroom for the hairdryer. If you want to watch the t.v you have to pay 10euro for a remote. We also paid 10 euro tax for 2 adults. Don't need to pay for children.

This was our first all inclusive holiday. The hotel was basic we had 2 adjoining rooms which were very small, the shower was difficult to use due to size of cubicle and the shower curtain was useless and flooded the room. Our view was non existent overlooking a ally with bins and the back of a restaurant. Also was very hot due to no air conditioning. The food was adequate with a wide variety of options for each meal but was repetitive. The drinks options was awful unless you paid for premium drinks. 1 choice of beer from a can and cheap weak spirits. The cocktails where from a machine and were like dirty water. Kids choices where very limited with awful tasting coke or water or tango type drinks. The staff where ok but overworked and the lift was useless taking ages to come when called. The pool was nice small but sufficient to cool down after a day on the beach. The hydropool didn't work all the time we were there but the fountain did come on for a couple of hours a day. Calella itself is lovely and the beach was only 2 minutes walk from the hotel. On a whole we did enjoy our week but would not use Hotel Terramar again. There was a notice saying they would not serve drunk guests, which made me laugh as you would have to stand at the bar drinking all week to get drunk on what they served.

This hotel is exactly what you’d imagine. It’s very basic but provides what you need for a good holiday. We paid for all inclusive and while some of the food was not great, we found lunch to be the best meal! The cocktails out of the machine were very watery however the mixers provided were pretty decent! The staff work very hard here and are clearly under a lot of stress, as the other reviews have said, it’s not a five star place. You get exactly what you pay for! However after speaking to other guests I think it’s abit of a gamble with rooms. Some rooms have aircon (like us) while others do not and appear in disrepair. I think this is a perfect hotel for a short get away with the family, it’s within walking distance of the beach and easy access to a train line! Have relatively low expectations and you won’t be disappointed!
