Elba Sara Beach & Golf Resort

My daughter and I have just returned from a week and stayed AI. After reading a few reviews of cold food and undercooked chicken can definitely say all our food was cooked and not cold. Our beds and pillows were lovely and the new walk in showers great. Very impressed that the pool areas were cleaned thoroughly and the pools themselves very clean. Our room was also cleaned and made up every day. I have only one gripe, we went for the Tex Mex meal in the bookable restaurant on Wednesday and was not at all impressed. We went at 7.45 and the starters were not being replenished and were left messy and not appealing. The main courses were not “tex mex” , we chose a burger, not appetising and left half of it. The following night in the main restaurant was Mexican. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, loads of choice of starters and main meals. We wouldn’t bother booking but would stay in the main restaurant. We stayed most days in the adult area which was great if you didn’t have children with you and enjoyed the pools, very refreshing. We would return again and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elba Sara 😀

great hotel!!! very friendly staff. hotel is very clean and modern. 2 min walk to the beach and super market. 20 min walk into the city centre which is along the beach front. quite windy so take a jacket for evenings but very welcoming with the heat! hotel rooms lovely and clean. we took out two year old and they were very accommodating. only thing i will say is there isn’t much child friendly food options. you get standard chips and nuggets ect but isn’t a area just for kids food. shower door had no seal so was abit dangerous. can’t fault anything other than that tho! only 15 mins from airport.

Absolutely brilliant! First time here and first all inclusive holiday! Exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be back to the hotel or one of the others in the Chain! Great food service and bar service aswell. Rooms cleaned exceptionally.

This was our first time to Fuerteventura. We were really pleased with this hotel. Staff excellent, nothing was a problem. Food was of a really high standard fresh with great variety. Rooms were big and cleaned every day. Pool was clean and plenty of room around for sun-beds. Hotel is a short walk to Caleta de Fuste and very close to the airport. Only thing we missed was an on-site laundry but this wasn’t a huge issue. We had a great holiday in this hotel and would happily return.

Spent 2 wks here all inclusive in June. Pros... clean hotel with friendly staff. Huge bedroom and very comfy bed which was also huge. Large walk in shower which was lovely. Plenty of sun beds. Lovely clean pools. The food was the best we have ever had in a 4 star all inclusive. Loads of choice. If anyone says the food is bad then the issue is with them and not the hotel. Lots of choice for fussy kids to choose from. A side gate will take you to a pleasant walkway along the sea front and beach. The shopping centre next door is very nice. A good hotel for families with younger children as there's plenty to keep them entertained. Negatives....the evening entertainment in the broadway bar was the worse we have ever seen in a 4 star hotel. There's a lovely lobby bar but they just put football on the TV. It would be lovely if they had some music in there. The bed linen and towel changing is a bit hit and miss. There were loads of flies around the pool area which drove us and many others mad. There's a nice relaxing area for adults but not one sun umbrella in there which ruled it out for us and some other guests. We had a lovely holiday but wouldn't return. We would happily recommend this hotel for families but maybe not couples.

We went half board a couple in our 40s for 5 nights. Pros- Reception area and bar is stunning definitely 4 star look Pools are kept very clean, they clean they daily and clean all the floors and sunbeds daily Music is played around the family pool and all the kids there seemed to love it Plenty of sunbeds available although usual people putting towels down at silly times on a morning. Bathroom was lovely and the shower was amazing it has a normal shower and waterfall shower Even though we weren't all inclusive the bar staff gave us soft drinks on draught for free which was very nice. Cons-The food was not great and had themed foods each day so some nights we didn't want anything they had. The plates were dirty and cutlery wasn't always available. If we had taken children I would have been more upset with the food as we didn't see much at all that kids would eat. Braakfast was probably the worst I've had abroad it was always cold unless you got a freshly made omelette Dinner drinks ate not included which is fair enough but you also can't get a hot drink with your evening meal you get an alcohol list and few soft drink options. I like a cuppa after my meal but they said no. The pillows are so thin we had to ask for extras which is fine they supplied them. Room cleanliness it stated daily towel changes ans bed making we only had this done twice in the 5 days. It also states sheets are changed every 3 days. This did not happen either. The main corridors to the rooms are not clean, we saw the same spillage on the floors all the time we were there. I would say this is a 3 star hotel but if you like the local food you will be ok. We will not be returning to this hotel. McDonald's is just over the road and a lovely shopping centre next door where we ate a few restaurants which were lovely. I am so glad we didn't go all inclusive the food is definitely not worth it. The staff were all polite and helpful.

This hotel and holiday was fabulous, it was exactly what we needed for a chilled, kid friendly, week in the sun. The hotel was nice to look at, extremely clean, well kept and in pristine condition. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. There was plenty of sunbeds and pool space with 3 separate pool areas, although the resort is contained enough that the kids could go between. There was activities for the kids to do and the food was absolutely fantastic. Food wise - Great quality and great variation with a different theme each night, huge spreads that would cater to every taste including lots of fresh options, and the restaurant team worked hard keeping the food fresh and topped up and the tables clean and well served. The hotel is next to a small shopping centre which had a mini supermarket - this was handy to walk over to grab any bits. The hotel backs on to a beach, and the port with a small ***** of restaurants/cafes/beach shops is about a 20 min walk up the coastline, but there is also a free shuttle coach running there daily! Overall a great place to go with everything we needed. Very pleased with our choice.
