The friendliness of the staff is unquestionable, the availability of the employees exists, but the GREED of the owner is immense and harms all customers, just to earn a few more euros. With a boat canceled due to bad weather and unable to get to the island, I asked for a refund on the accommodation. Despite all the sympathy from the employees, the boss denied this situation, as he had nothing to do with it. A SHAME, it is tourist agents and hoteliers like these who are doing harm to tourism in the Azores and, like many on the island of Pico, very celebrated, but who then become arrogant towards their customers, without realizing that without their customers they are nothing, they end up for wasting away, blaming the employees, the authorities or the isolation... but it's nothing like that, it's the attitude of the owner and owners like this that are bad for Tourism in Portugal.
