Where do you go to not stand in the airport in the slate and escape masses? To the Dutch North Sea coast to Callanthoog. Hotel het Zwaantje has only 2**. Why? It has large very clean rooms; air conditioning, TV, refrigerator and safes on the rooms; balconies; enough free and free parking, a deep garage where I could park with my combination without problems. Also, a lift is available from the deep garage to the rooms. The hotel is accessible! It is 7 minutes walk to the center and 10 minutes to the beach. So let the car stand and move, wonderful. But, no but no! Breakfast, very rich and varied. For coffee we ordered hot milk, no problem! You can also take breakfast on a garden terrace. The staff is very friendly. In the hotel you are safe. Only with a chip card you get to the hotel, the garage and the rooms. So, 2** no thank you. We come back, no question!

The price-performance ratio is already unassored. We were there 5 nights for € 250 per night. Very screened, nicely furnished rooms. No telephone, no minibar, no water cooker, no safe, not the smallest rays of luxury. There were hardly television programmes. Breakfast buffet is very spartanian. Also Saturday or Sunday no change to everyday. Each day the same, always the same 3 unprecedented sausage, no salmon, fish salad or even small kitchen, nothing ! To be quiet of the cleanliness. It was definitely not cleaned for 6 days, only the beds were perfectly directed. What is called towels there, I take home as cleaning laps. We were very disappointed and will not enter this hotel anymore. The damage about the €1250 that we would like to pay if the counterpart is true. We always travel in this price category, but we have never been so disappointed !
