hotel is not what could be considered a four star experience The food was always only lukewarm and very "samey", based on pork and chips. The infinity pool was too cold to swim in the whole two weeks we were there. We thought having paid extra the pool would have been heated. The evening entertainment consisted of Bingo with an over exited caller and singing groups who were so loud that they were distorted most of the time. There was only one bar in the evening and because some people were paying and some were all inclusive there was nearly ALWAYS a long queue. When you got to the front the staff were very sullen and seemed as if they begrudged serving you at all.

Nice location but definitely not a 4 star hotel in our opinion. We have never had to pay for using a safe in the room (35euro) I don’t know why we should considering the cost of the holiday and it’s appears to be standard practice to offer free room safe usage to protect you passports etc . Our room was impeccably cleaned daily by a very pleasant and friendly lady. Cleaners in corridors however start very early which woke us up. Food, what do I say? Bland, boring and luke warm and that was just after 30mins of opening the restaurant. Food quality was not of a hotel with 4 stars. This issue was a talking point of many others from the start of our 7 day stay but we did not see any improvements. We raised the food issue with our TUI rep and hotel but again no improvements. WOULD WE STAY HERE AGAIN? Definite NO!!!

This hotel is beautifully located on the beach and all rooms have some kind of a sea view. On arrival we knew that we would have to pay hotel tax but 46 euros for late October is ridiculous! Also I’ve never paid for a safe in a four star hotel so was shocked at a 35 euro charge for one week. Rooms are a bit on the small side but always kept clean by very pleasant staff. For all inclusive, the food and drink wasn’t too bad at all. Lunch was a bit hit and miss but you could always go to the poolside bar and order snacks from there. Disappointed that pizza was not part of the all inclusive at the snack bar. As it was probably one the cheapest things to make, they were charging nearly 10 euros just don’t understand why you couldn’t order it on the all inclusive. Also I appreciate the two drink rule but the staff need to stick to this and not enforce it when it suits them. I’m a woman in my 60s and went to the bar near the pool. I ordered 2 coffees and a lemonade and the man behind the bar stated two drinks only. I pointed out that I was the only person stood there and he told me to walk away and come back. This is very poor customer service. I was even more annoyed when a young lady went over later and ordered 3 pina colada’s and he served her with a smile! Entertainment during the evening was very good. However, when the artists finish at 11.15 pm everyone leaves because there is no background music or anything. It’s as if the staff want you to go even though the bar doesn’t shut till midnight. It would be nice to just have music for half an hour so that you could dance. I must say that The man and woman who run the entertainment during the day and evening were lovely and so friendly. Overall, a good stay but the highlighted niggles has made me think about returning

It wasn't clear when booking our accommodation that the roof terrace/infinity pool was only available to superior rooms. As the pictures on your website for this hotel shows the infinity pool we were to believe it was a facility available to all guests. The description for the standard room doesn't explain there's no access to these facilities, with further investigation (checking alternative dates with the superior option) we can see the description for the superior room does state the roof terrace/infinity pool is exclusively available to Superior rooms ONLY (the superior room wasn't an available option at the time of booking). This was one of the hotel facilities on offer (or so we thought) that led us to book this hotel. We spoke to the TUI rep on arrival to be told "Nowhere in the website does it state there's a roof terrace or infinity pool" when we explained that there's a picture of this facility on the website we were told "You shouldn't make a decision based in the pictures, just go by the hotel description". We asked if it would be possible to upgrade, buy a day/hourly pass or just pop up to have a look to see if it would be worth booking for a return visit, the TUI rep then cut the conversation short explaining "There nothing I can do, you don't have access to the roof terrace and the superior room are fully booked". During our stay we witnessed several other guests asking the same question regarding the Roof Terrace / Infinity pool, I would suggest a review of the website description for this hotels facilities to reduce further misunderstandings. Although the hotel is listed as a 4-Star property we were a little disappointed with a few areas. Firstly, the outdoor pool was extremely cold (colder than the sea) which meant it was barely used by guests other than for the water aerobics. Secondly, the dining experience was a little disappointing. The food was non-descript and the dish information tags were incorrectly placed on a daily basis (meat dishes and vegetable dishes incorrectly marked) which isn't an issue for us but could be concerning for guests with specific dietary requirements. As an all inclusive guest with access to hamburgers and hotdogs from the pool grill bar on a daily basis, to see these served for dinner in the main grill on two separate nights was a poor effort, not what I would consider a 4-star dining experience. On a positive note, the majority of the staff (Bar, Catering, Waiting and Housekeeping) were very pleasant, helpful and approachable (Louda (I hope that's the correct spelling?) on the pool grill bar and Miguel on the pool bar, we're really cheerful and always welcomed with a smile) . Although we didn't partake in any of the activities on offer, the animation team worked tirelessly throughout our stay, Donna especially worked from the early hours through to close.

Got to say, we had a fantastic holiday at the Santa Lucia, the hotel is in the best location possible with amazing views on both sides, it's spotlessly clean and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, the buffet for both breakfast and evening meal was excellent although it would be nice if coffee was available with the evening meal the same as it is with breakfast, if I'm honest, the only thing I could moan about is the sunbeds, they are old and tired and the mattresses on them are stained and tatty and there aren't enough, if you're not out at 8 o'clock in the morning clipping your towels to a couple of beds with mattresses on them, the chances are that you're not going to be very comfortable, the evening entertainment is as good as any hotel we have ever stayed at and there are some daytime activities if you're inclined to join in.

Hotel was nice, very clean and lovely and quiet. Food was good, although a little basic and all staff were warm and friendly. Not enough sunbeds for the number of occupants in this very large hotel - meaning we had to pay Eur25 per day for two beds on the neighbouring beach - a not insignificant additional cost. We were a little disappointed in our room location - we were directly above the loading bay - and so we were woken every morning from 7am with lorries offloading deliveries right under our window for a few hours. Reverse beepers going constantly. (The room itself was lovely however - just the location was the issue). Lastly we did request a later checkout which we were more than happy to pay for - but were told they were full and couldn't give us this option (despite it being offered to us at booking and in the room literature). If I had known this I would have booked a morning flight home instead of night time. We ended up walking the streets for 6 hours until our flight transfer, which put a downer on our last day. (they did have a luggage room for our cases)

Stayed in October 2024, nice area and beautiful beaches either side, but the hotel doesn't do it justice. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but I have to say, it's the most unfriendly place i've ever stayed in and we go away at least 3 times a year. I don't know if the staff have something going on with management, pay dispute or something, but they need to sort it asap, we were not the only guests to comment. A few of the reasons why we won't be returning to this hotel :- - Food was cold, tasteless, Pork with everything. - not enough staff in the restaurant, there was chaos on a couple of occasions because there were no tables available to sit down as they hadn't been cleared or reset for the next guest, very few staff being run ragged trying to catch up. Couple of exchanges between staff and guests because of this. Miserable bar staff, again, not a smile or pleasantry between them all week, one of the staff got my order wrong and gave me the wrong drink, he then proceeded to charge me for it on my bill (I wasn't all inclusive) We were always able to get a sunbed on the terrace, you have no chance around the pool though, unless you want to get up early and queue for the pool doors to open and then make a run for your favourite spot. Management need to elsewhere or get a grip of this hotel, it has the potential to be stunning given the location, but it's tired and angry, with a can't be bothered attitude. It could be so much better

We had a holiday here in October. We had read some of the reviews and were on edge about what to expect from our holiday. We were greeted by friendly staff and our room was lovely with a great view. Food was fine and a big choice of everything. Omelettes cooked to order and a good selection . Evening meal was again fine with so much choice. Staff were polite. We could always find something we liked and even free water whereas other hotels charge for water with your meal. Yes we had to pay a tourist tax but every Majorcan hotel charges this tax. Deposit for towels you get back on leaving. We always found a sunbed on the sun terrace some with mattresses but even without were fine. I would suggest new mattresses for every sunbed and covered in a rain proof covering as stains are appearing on current ones that look awful. All in all a lovely holiday and would go back.
