Just returned from a family holiday which included 3 kids aged 9, 7 and 5 and they did not want to leave. The entertainment staff were amazing with them. They couldn't wait for the kids club and the kids entertainment at night. The pools are fantastic for them and there was always something going on during the day that they could take part in. The food and drink and pretty standard all inclusive. We always found something to eat. Not a fan of the drinks being served in paper cups but I guess it makes sense when people are drinking outside. Our rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. My only gripe being they put us on the 10th floor with small kids when I though it would make more sense to have kids on lower floors. They did say they might be able to move us after the 1st night but it didn't seem worth the hassle. Reception staff were very helpful to be fair. My complaint with this holiday (and it's not specifically the hotel's fault) is that this year we noticed the utter distain that Spanish people have toward us Brits. A large amount of the Spanish holiday makers in the hotel were extremely rude. There wasn't a queue they wouldn't skip if they saw a line of British people waiting in it. It was especially bad at the lifts. Pushing in front or barging into the lifts before people had come out. They were skipping little kids waiting at the bar for juice which sadly, a few of the bar staff allowed to happen. (Not all, most of the bar staff were also very good with the little ones but some just seemed to prefer serving other nationalities first.) They would walk up to the front of the lines at the restaurant and also when we were signing children into the clubs. It almost became comical. I have never encountered anything like this in the number of years I have visited Magaluf and Palma Nova before and it's making me reconsider next year's holiday. Spoke to a few other Scottish parties in the hotel and they had also noticed this. Magaluf doesn't have the best reputation and I have always defended and recommended it to people but based on what we experienced this week, I dont think I'll be doing that again.

I returned last week following a pleasant 9 days at this Hotel. We travelled as a couple, with my family thinking I was crazy to go to a kid based Hotel. The only thing I could really moan about was the fact there was no more adult entertainment after the kids disco, but its Magaluf, theres plenty on elsewhere. We booked an upgraded room, which was just big enough for the 2 of us, I struggle to see how you can fit 4 people in, bet they do! The storage space is rubbish and there is no tea making facility (we knew this and took our own). There was an unexpected bonus of a safe and a fridge, altho you will have to take the fridge out of the wardrobe for it to cool properly. Bed was comfortable and clean. Room and common areas were spotless. I cannot understand the 1* reviews complaining about the staff and the food and the pool guys. The rules at the pool are fairly strict but they are for your safety and comfort and I saw no child or adult not enjoy themselves around the pool. I thought life guards Alan and Jose were brilliant, friendly, helpful and above all safety conscious. All the staff, Restaurant, Reception, Cleaners, except one miserable barman (you always get one) were great. Food was your usual all inclusive, not the best I`ve had but certainly nothing to complain about. The bacon and sausages at breakfast were the best I`ve had in any Spanish Hotel. Tables cleared quickly and staff happy to have a quick chat while going about their duties. Loads of loungers available at any time of the day, altho they are a little close together. Good selection available for lunch at the Poolside bar. Drinks were good, rarely a queue and in the main, very pleasant , helpful bar staff. Travelling without kids I can`t tell you how good the kids facilities were, but most of the kids we saw were having a great time. The Katmandu park has a great waterpark and large soft play. Just an easy 5 minute walk to a fantastic beach and promenade. Also an easy 8 minute walk to Palma Nova for a change of scenery. Lots of shops and bars within 2 minutes with something for everyone. To sum up - this place is great for kids - just book it, you wont be disappointed.
