Hotels near Camarillo Station, Camarillo

A few minutes drive to Ole, the room is big. It’s just that the air-conditioning host looks like it’s in the room, the sound is too noisy, and at night I don’t dare to sleep, no shower caps. These two seem to be the common points of American hotels. Also, booked more than two months earlier, and later suddenly found that the price of the ticket user is 200 cheaper than my order, but unfortunately can not be retired, white card for my ticket users.

There are not many parking spaces inside, the roadside can be stopped at the door. The hotel is in the old town, a small street, very close to the expressway, but not noisy, about 1 km from Ole, the cafe next door is good, the road There is a self-service barbecue on the opposite side, which is also very good. Was expecting better for some fleeting reason but the experience was worse this time around. The managent used to be tops up until early 2021 but the manager and desk staff are cold as well as verbally innappropriate. I was so SHOCKED by the negativity and awful behavior from a larger younger woman on shift before 7am who after some nasty, totally unnecessary words to my pleasant attitude, stared at me via the office as I was leaving. She can deny it but if there's audio & video no there's heed to report her. Doing so wouldn't matter anyway. Stayed at some far worse (local) 6s and I thought (or hoped) I'd be more comfortable but... surprise! There's more but just the worst of it is being noted here. Sometimes I suspect these hotels or any other business mistreats people for the entertainment, and drama of it but its a bad trend that affects them more than the consumer, who will choose to go somewhere else and talk about what happened. Why sue them? lol just don't go back. Probably shouldn't mention this and it may not be true but I heard this hotel is planning on removing the microwaves and fridges. The Lake is nice but you have to feel safe and professionally treated by the establishment you've paid to much money to. Unreal. She had a a mask on but I heard her loud and clear, but you usually see the attitude good or bad. An average person just wants a safe place to stay with no one bothering them or unwanted grief.

If you are on a budget, looking for a no-frills place to stay in the Oxnard/Camarillo/Ventura area, this hotel would be hard to beat for the price. Pool was small but clean, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. No continental breakfast here, but there are many places to eat neary. Gas stations also nearby.

Satisfied hotel, clean, large space, laundry room, but there is a washing machine and a dryer. There are more parking spaces and charges. There is a Starbucks-like restaurant on the first floor, you can have breakfast, at your own expense, and the price is OK. There is no business district nearby, and you need to drive in and out.

It's very close to Ole. I stayed for one night during a road trip. It was very convenient. The standard is not very high, but it is clean and hygienic. It is a good choice to spend the night.

The façade of the hotel is in harmony with the outlets on the opposite side, with pale yellow walls and orange roofs. The first floor is the front desk and breakfast room. The room size is good and the facilities meet the standards. It is very convenient to walk in front of the door. Drive to the outlet for 5 minutes, it will be more difficult to pass without a car. The shortcoming of the hotel is that the breakfast variety is a little bit less, the others are good.

There is a swimming pool, it seems that there is a small hot pool, there is an elevator, the room is old but the management is relatively standard and clean. Good breakfast, homemade waffles and beef burgers, a better grade than the motel's breakfast.

I stayed at the hotel last weekend (checked out Nov 5th) and shortly after my sons baseball game noticed that I had left his shoes in the room. I called the hotel - no one was helpful. I tried to see if housekeeping recovered the shoes, if someone had checked into the hotel, maybe they were still under the desk? I could not get any information except that they would check with housekeeping. I called again on Monday - no information. Called on Tuesday - no information. I received an email this morning (Wednesday) from Pauline (the regional manager) stating that housekeeping does not have them and an apology that ”you lost your shoes”. I am livid! I did not loose the shoes. Instead, the message should have said, ”I am sorry you left your shoes in the room and my housekeeping stole them”! They were in the room! Anyhow, I have stayed at this place probably 20ish times for convenience (baseball park is close by), but I would not recommend - the rooms stink, the windows do not open so it's stuffy and smells like mildew, staff is not friendly, and now add to the list - the housekeeping are thieves!

Typical HIE, nothing great. First when checking in, my profile which specifically asks for a room located near the elevator (and even though I'm a Spire Elite) the front desk clerk never acknowledged my status and proceeded to give me the furthest room from the elevator which was quite far away at the other end of the building. I think he was traumatized by Covid-19 as he was totally PPE'd up including ridiculous looking snorkeling goggles. The room was decent but many electrical outlets didn't work and overall the room was quite dark unless you went around a found all the ”mood” lighting space around the room. The bathroom has the most pathetic water spout in the sink, the kind you get in the airports that supposed work when you put your hands underneath. It didn't work well and came out in FULL force that you couldn't adjust. So if you want to brush your teen, you have to wave your hand underneath the spout, hope it ”senses” the movement and then the water blasts out and maybe it will get warm before it shuts off. It's the most poorly designed faucet I have ever used, one absolutely nobody would have in their home and most certainly should not be in the hotel. Pathetic.
