Disappointing… It all started really well… staff are friendly hotel seems clean enough but it could do with a deep clean. The issue with the rooms are as followed We stayed in the “new part” of the hotel that was very nice. However the ceilings echo every footstep, door shut and toilet flush from above and our “family room” had a joining wooden door to which we could hear every single drunken word (and the hundreds of swear words) from the argument the couple were having next door for over an hour. After telling reception after 20 minutes they came down to listen but after 5 minutes they were walking back towards reception when I stopped them to say that we could hear every word and swear word that was being said. We were asked if we wanted to switch room but at 11:30 at night and with a 6 year old child who was managing to sleep through it that wasn’t really an option! This went on until 12:15am. Then at 6am the person staying above us woke up and was walking about for almost 2 hours until we finally got up and you could still hear them after that (I have no idea why you’d be walking around at that time on a Sunday morning) we could hear every foot step of them walking round the room back and forth! Family rooms should be with other families and not next to rooms that you can hear every word through a joining door. Oh and the pub…. Food wasn’t anything exciting and it was over priced for what you get. One of the worst experiences staying in a Premier Inn we’ve ever had! Don’t waste your money staying here at Camborne or eating at the pub!

Hotel looks a bit run down from the outside despite it being fairly new. Discoloured walls and the sign has fallen down. However, it is better on the inside with the usual Premier Inn facilities. Busy place with lots of trades people staying so the restaurant gets busy. Plenty of other places to eat in town though. Broadband speed is exceptionally slow with only 0.46mbps which is annoying when you are trying to work. It's almost as if they have artificially slowed it down to force you to purchase the premium internet package. Low volume taps in the bathroom make filling a kettle a bit of a chore and the water temp in the hot taps has been limited. External windows have been sealed shut so I was unable to get rid of the musty smell that stayed throughout my stay.

A great location for our quick 3 day visit to Southern Cornwall [ conveniently located just off the A30 junction]. Our Premier Plus room was quiet and immaculately clean and a quiet Sunday meant a quick check-in [Monday night seemed extremely busy!]. We only ate in the restaurant on one evening and it was absolutely fine. All the hotel and restaurant staff were attentive and very friendly. We would definitely use this Premier Inn again.

As usual great beds and rooms. Very clean and extra pillows available in the room. Good selection of food as well. Would be nice if there was at least some Halal options. Had a great nights sleep. Staff are also amazing. Had a great welcome from Lizzie & Jess.

This isn't the first time we have stayed here but I am unsure about booking again. Our first visit, when dropping our daughter off was amazing. Beautiful, clean, rooms, lovely breakfast which catered to a huge group of uni parents. This time, however, was different. My own room was great, neat, clean and a lovely night's sleep. My daughter's room, however, stunk of tobacco smoke. We let reception know and they were apologetic but on returning for our second night the room still stank. Also on both occasions that they entered the room the tv was playing, even though the power key was not in. Very odd and unsettling. I'm not sure if it's connected but on our arrival the second night all the staff seemed to be outside smoking which is very unpleasant. A real shame as we rebooted because our previous stay had gone so well.

Have visited alot of Premier Inns on my travels as a fire Safety officer and have not been disappointed with the hospitality or service but have to say have never had 5*service up until now. After a long Drive and tough day at work needed a lift. Massive Thank you and shout out to Elizabeth and Jess for being happy, bubbly helpful and genuinely lovely..total asset to the company. Thank You xx

Marc, Megan and Emma couldn’t have done enough for my parents during their stay. They were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. My parents also had the best nights sleep on the very comfy beds. Thankyou for everything to all the lovely staff there xxx
