Arriving late after 12 hours of driving, the lady at the reception refused to check me in and told me to check my email instead. The online registration required an excessive amount of data. Beyond the standard credit card information, it required to upload front and back of my drivers license as well as a three sided facial photo scan. As a result you don’t get a room key card, but rather a 10 digit code that you have to enter each time you get your room in a dimly lit hallway. Hold your luggage after check out? Use a third party provider. Sonder is trying to sell their lack of service as a new technology enabled hotel experience. The truth: it’s a cost out, you do the work hotel staff used to do, it’s not aligned with the 4 star designation.

They are located in Cambridge, good quality of restaurants for students and travelers and really safe. It's good to see the village style of the harvard side and tech facilities style of MIT sides.
There is nothing bad side of hotel specifically.
