We stay here every time we are in the area; ALWAYS so happy after a long day on the road there is coffee or tea in the lobby as well as when we depart early morning. So appreciative of that little convienence. We do miss the cold lemon water hint hint!! The staff at the front desk, the ladies who do housekeeping, the mgr Gretchen and of course the hostess in the dining area are always wonderful. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but always as clean as any other hotel we stay at in this type of mid level hotel. I will say over the past few years under Gretchen's watch, things have definetly gotten better; the beds are comfortable, somewhat to the firm side and the sheets are SPOTLESS, SOFT and WHITE and SMELL CLEAN, kudos to the housekeeping mgr. Love that. The pillows are on the too soft side, my only other con in the stay is they do allow pets who sometimes end of yep, barking. The breakfast nook is always clean and well stocked for a light fare breakfast, plenty of things to choose from. The surrounding main street is VERY busy with traffic, just be careful when pulling onto it. There are plenty of places for dining on all $$ levels, gasoline, walmart, Royal Farms is always good for picking up some food, coffee ect.. as well. Lots to do in the area radius, we just love it.
