Hampton Inn Cambridge

Hotel was conveniently located. Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Newly renovated room are excellent. Friendly and helpful front desk staff appreciated. Great location off the interstate. The new carpeting and flooring is sharp. The bathroom was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Internet was quick. Don’t change a thing !

It is a regular Hampton Inn but currently undergoing a facelift for the rooms on Floor 3 and 4. They are not yet completed but we got the chance to stay in a room that is almost done except a few furniture and details on the construction process. The Lobby area are not renovated yet The hot breakfast buffet was acceptable. The lack of completion was made up by the very friendly and service orientated employees. The TV system was not working well as we could not reviewed several local channels.

First the good: My "King Studio" room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well. Also, they let me check in early, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. That's about it. The not-so-good: I knew they were in the process of remodeling, but at $175 for one night mid-week in a non-metropolitan area, I had hopes of getting a room that had been refurbished. Not so much! The room was quite worn, with abundant dings and nicks. The lighting was very poor--something for which there should be no excuse in this age of inexpensive LED bulbs. (Guests who do not like a brightly lit room can just use fewer lamps.) The breakfast area was in really bad shape, with nicked-up furniture and bench seating with large rips. Also, at check-in time they did not offer me any snacks as a gold Hhonors member. Hampton Inns have been my "go-to" hotels for quite a while, but the next time I need to stay overnight in Cambridge, I'll have to consider other options.

My wife and I have travelled extensively throughout the USA, we have stayed at most of the branded motels on our travels but one hotel stands head and shoulders above the others, Hampton Inn in Cambridge OH is, in my opinion, the best of the very best. From the ease of access from I70 to the warm welcome at reception to the beautiful and spotless rooms to the legendary breakfast buffet, this hotel is the best. The management and staff should be congratulated on their attention to detail.

Given the pictures online that showed an outdated hotel, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised upon checking in that our room appeared to be recently remodeled. It was clean, the AC worked well through the night, and most importantly, the staff were extremely professional and friendly. The only complaint I have is the water pressure was extremely low, but other than that I would not hesitate staying here again.

Out of 6 hotels on a cross-country road trip, this had the best breakfast setup. We so appreciate good oatmeal! Room was comfortable, and we slept well. Nothing about the current renovation project affected our stay, but I do hope that it offers an opportunity to improve the ventilation in the room, which was suboptimal.

Stayed here on our trip east to Philadelphia. It was a Decent hotel and we both had a good nights sleep. I always rate hotel on the comfort of the bed and how nice the bathroom is. The bathroom had a nice counter top. I prefer ones that have a shelf above the sink for storage. They are starting a remodel and we could see the containers in the back parking lot.

If you are looking for lodging that is very cleaning and all the personnel make one feel welcomed, stay at this site. The personnel from the front desk, cleaning personnel and kitchen staff were extremely accommodating. We really appreciated the front desk person, Rebecca. We had booked our lodging through Experia and had received a confirmation number. We were looks forward to a restful night after Our 8 hours travelling time. We were within an hour of the Inn and we received a cancellation notice. Rebecca at the Hampton Inn reserved us a room even though our reservation was cancelled. We were very appreciative.
