We stayed here for three nights during our visit to Camden and felt at home. We needed a late check-in which was not a problem, and on recommendation of the owner, we had changed our room booking to the Victorian - we were very grateful for that recommendation because the street in front of the inn gets quite busy once morning comes and the Victorian is in the back and quieter. Our room was cosy and spacious with a big bathroom and we were happy with it, I just found the bed a bit too bouncy and soft but it didn’t keep us from sleeping well. There’s a lovely peaceful garden and breakfast is served on a patio outside which was a special treat. They serve two courses and made changes on all days to accommodate some dietary restrictions I had which I really appreciated. It was freshly prepared and tasty. There’s a community fridge and a Keurig coffee/tea machine which was handy. The town is in walking distance. A note on the interior - I found it a little too old school and in need of a bit of an update for my taste but I realize this is the character of the place and some might like it exactly for that. I also noticed a strange perfumed smell in the hallways which I found a little too dominant. And I had somehow understood that they would provide water every day but that wasn’t the case, only on day one, so we had to pay when we asked for two more bottles on the last day. We had been at another B&B just before which was a little more user friendly and easy going, otherwise I might not have noticed the difference so much. In any case we were happy with our stay here.
