To the staff of Bintana Sa Paraiso - Binunsaran: From me and Jackie, thank you for making our stay memorable. The staff are world class in terms of hospitality and making you feel right at home. They are always friendly, polite, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we have the best experience. It was our first time staying at Bintana and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The place itself is spectacular; with amazing views of White Island and Mount Hibok Hibok, and the vibe both morning and evening is very calm. My only critiques is if you want to take a swim, be prepared, it’s pretty cold, I would suggest heating the pool and private pool to ensure guests use it more. The bathroom hot water heater was also inconsistent, half the time we showered in the cold which was a bit of a letdown. Lastly, thank you to everyone at Bintana for my surprise birthday party. It was hard enough to keep it a secret, but they pulled it off. They worked with my wife to make this birthday one for the books. I would highly recommend Bintana to anyone that wants to have a relaxing vacation coupled with amazing staff to ensure you have the best experience. Big big big shoutout the front desk staff (Jay and Arve), room service/restaurant (Drex, JL, Malou, Christine, and Gretchen), and to Brian and Chitto for the transportation. If it wasn’t for them, I sincerely doubt our stay would’ve been as memorable. Kindest Regards, Gabe and Jackie

Great place, great staff, great food! Pool starts at 5’7. Though there’s small kiddie pool. Not a problem. …………… ………………… …………… ……… ………………… ……… ……… ………………… …………………. …………… ………………… ………… ……… ………………… ………… ……… ……………………… ………… ……… ………………… …………………

I’d like to preface this by saying how much I miss Camiguin and my time at Bintana sa Paraiso! While searching for accommodations, Bintana sa Paraiso in Binunsaran truly stood out to me. Although I explored other options, I was certain that this was where I wanted to stay. Upon my arrival at Camiguin airport, Kuya Chito, their friendly driver, was already there waiting for me. The ride to the property was a quick 10–15 minutes, and from the moment I arrived, I immediately fell in love! (as someone who lives in a building-dominated city, it just always hits different when you’re by nature—mountains, trees, the sea, etc.) The entire place is just as beautiful in person as it looks in the pictures. The views are absolutely stunning and relaxing! (yes, I requested an upper unit for better views 😊, and when I asked if I could be moved to the next unit to the left for even better views, they happily made it happen) Both units I stayed in were nice, comfortable, and had spacious bathrooms! While some amenities differed between the units—for example, one had a TV and a sofa bed while the other included a hairdryer, a full-length mirror, and a ceiling fan—it wasn’t an issue at all for me. Just something to keep in mind if you have specific preferences. There’s Wi-Fi everywhere, though some areas can be spotty. If you’re a remote worker, I’d suggest staying outdoors (on the porch/balcony or in the restaurant) where the connection is more stable. You won’t have to worry about the occasional power outages as they have a generator. You also won’t have to worry about safety, as they have a private guard on duty every night. I enjoyed spending my nights on the balconies, working and then waiting for sunrises. It can get quite chilly up there, though, especially when it’s raining, so I suggest packing some warm layers. Although I didn’t order a drink from their bar, I did enjoy the food selection in their restaurant. Everything was great and portioned for two people. Their Surol? Oh, I'm obsessed! Kuya Dodong, the chef, you're the best. Thank you for setting up the Kawa bath as well :) Now, let me talk about the other staff, who were all wonderful! First, the guys: Jay, the gentle one. He arranged my transfer from one unit to another, which I truly appreciated. When I almost forgot to request a beach towel, Jay was more than prepared and proactively handed it over to me along with bottles of water before I headed out for a tour. Then there’s Arvie, the nice (and good-looking haha) one, who is always ready to assist. He arranged a ride for me one night to Utopia Café. JL, well, he’s the one I had the most conversations with. He not only assisted with my luggage and drove me to Utopia but also took some of my pictures. He even shared some rambutan from their yard—definitely went above and beyond! I didn’t see Drex much during my stay, likely due to his shift schedule, but he was always polite and friendly! Onto the ladies: Kristin, Gretchen, Chelo, and Ma

Best place in the mountains of Camiguin! Enjoyed the view and the infinity pool. The staffs are very helpful and friendly! Since it isa mountain resort, I cant help but notice the number of insects flying in our terrace. The location was a bit far from the town proper. And the food needs to have a more remarkable flavors and taste. I will still give this resort a high rating because of the ambiance and the Bali vibes.

Stayed solo for 4D3N. It truely was a gateway to paradise with its amazing view, surrounding nature, good food, and nice staffs. If you want to take your time away from the busy cities and work, it is very conducive because aside from it’s good location that gives you a very relaxing view, it is peaceful (not even a sound of television, but birds chirping and wind gusting). Just some observations (or some points to improve): the right half window of the 3UP unit can’t be locked (safety and security concern), the shower heater is either hot or not (nothing in between), and there’s no initiation from the resort to clean up the rooms once in awhile at least for those staying for longers durations). That’s it, but overall, it was a good experience. I’ll consider coming back or maybe try the other Bintana sa Paraiso near the beach. ☺️

Bintana sa Paraiso— as the name implies, this nature-inspired resort can truly make your stay pleasant and memorable— with the comfort of nature surrounding the place, the sound of birds chirping, and a picturesque view. In addition, one of their staff, our driver, Bryan, who took us around Camiguin surely adds to the great experience, there’s never a dull moment with him throughout our two-day tour.

Stunning views, beautiful sunsets, tiny hot spring away from the noise of the city. The attached pool was great and enjoyed by my daughter and us after all the saltwater activities. Rooms were enough for my wife, kid and myself. Very clean. Hot water and toilets worked great. Staff were very helpful friendly and polite. Transportation is a bit expensive so we rented a motorbike and it was super cheap compared. A tank of gas lasted us all week. Phone signals are poor as this is quite remote. Wifi reception in the room we stayed was a bit weak but we were never disconnected. Management can easily fix this by adding wifi extenders in each room. Please not management. Overall, this place was fabulous and we will definitely come back again. If you're looking to be spoiled and pampered, consider a 5 star hotel somewhere else. This is not for you.
