Very modern and clean hotel. We travelled via train from Palermo to Campofelice and called the hotel for a hotel which cost €10. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful even though their English was limited. Food was very good standard, bar had variety of good hot/cold drinks and cocktails. Beach is very pebbly so would advise swimming shoes, however water was clean and not too salty and lots of sun-beds on the beach. Pool was very clean and background music was very calming. Rooms were very clean with mini fridge, tv, hairdryer and air-con, however the hotel did not have an iron so make sure you bring one with you if you need. WiFi was strong around all around the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

The food is plentiful and very good, the environment is very good, the rooms are also very good, the waiters are very polite, the swimming pool is beautiful and large, and the hotel lobby is very large. I will come back again if I have the opportunity. The location is far away and you need to drive there.

Chi vuole staccare la spina sicuramente questo è il posto ideale..ottima location,moderna con un design particolare. Cucina ottima,piscina sempre pulita.. consiglio vivamente. Noi ci ritorneremo. The good: Extraordinary surroundings: swimming pool, palm trees Excellent room: newly renovated bathroom Fantastic animation team Interesting excursions to get to know the island Hotel very little overcrowded Variety of food (lunch and dinner) Very quiet hotel. You can rest well in spite of the animation. Ideal for families with small children or for a few days of peace and quiet. Friendliness of the hotel staff The least good (not bad): Pebbly beach Little variety of food at breakfast (I would have liked some natural juice) During the excursions, I would have liked the guide to speak some Spanish. On some days the quality of the food was a little worse. The bad: In a four-star hotel, I expected mineral water, not microfiltered water from a machine (I had an all-inclusive reservation)

Very good hotel, with nice beach and good service. Good service and hotel standard. Food and drinks very good quality, live cooking and Italian dishes changing every day. Only one problem is a room size (smaller then description on web side - different is about 5 sq. meters).

What one is looking for a holiday differs greatly between folk and so I must start this review by stating that, after 18 months of challenge and stress in our lives, we were seeking complete relaxation. We read reviews of Mangia's Himera Resort and were aware that we would be quite isolated in terms of location and mobility - didn't matter - and that we were likely to be two in a very small number of Brits or English speakers - didn't matter; we just wanted to crash for two weeks in a comfortable environment and come away feeling refreshed. Mangia's Himera Resort proved to precisely fit the bill. The hotel, whilst spacious, felt compact enough that you would recognise guests and there is a good balance between indoor and outdoor spaces, in fact there are plenty of spaces in Reception, the lobby and the entertainment space for sitting and relaxing. Outdoor spaces range from courtyards, poolside seating by the bar, outdoor area to the restaurant, plenty of sunbeds, both directly next to the pool and on terraces. In addition there are more sunbeds on the lawn by the beach, by the beachside bar and on the beach itself, where there is a Life Guard on duty for most of the day, with a timetable of when the beach is supervised posted on the fence at the entrance to the beach. The pool, at first glance, doesn't seem very large, but it easily accommodated the guests who were there in May. The main pool is a single depth and, in addition, one corner is sectioned off as a children's pool, with shallow steps to each section. There are poolside showers and toilets available, and you can borrow a good quality beach towel from Reception - we paid 5 Euros each for a two week stay. The hotel has a spa - which we didn't visit - with a list of treatments available provided in the room, a small shop selling basics, swimwear, a few English language books and lots of souvenirs and postcards. There is also an office from where you can book excursions, or the hotel shuttle bus, which goes to the nearby town of Cefalu daily. You can also hire a car from an office within the hotel, not necessarily the cheapest rates, but you have the car directly from the hotel, rather than having to go to collect from Cefalu or Palermo. The Animation Team are young, multi lingual and enthusiastic. They organise activities in the pool and entertainment lounge during the day and, each evening there is either a 'show' or something like a quiz. Rooms, in common with the hotel in general, are stylish, well decorated, spotlessly clean, with chic bathrooms and plenty of storage. I found the bed in our room really uncomfortable but, on enquiring at Reception, they liaised with the wonderful Housekeeping Team, who bolstered the matress for me and, from then on, I slept well. Where the hotel really shines, and what made the holiday for us, was the food - such good quality, plenty of choice and a great restaurant vibe - we managed to eat all but two of our meals outside on the terr

We spend very nice days in the hotel you don't need to go out from the hotel to enjoy the holiday the staff is very nice and helpful they help you in any problem you face at that time you are in the hotel its very clean hotel and the rooms are very nice and it was the best choice of the hotel for family holiday its 5 star for me

Mangia's Himera exceeded our expectations. I got married in Sicily and brought my entire family (around 80 people) to stay for a week. Without a doubt, it is one of the best family resorts in Sicily. The first thing I notice in a hotel is cleanliness, and I can confirm that the resort was impeccably clean throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the resort offers a variety of activities for both individuals and groups, making it a priority to fill your days with laughter and enjoyment. As Maltese people accustomed to air conditioning during summer, we were initially concerned, but this was the first time I had to turn the AC down because I felt cold during the day. The food was outstanding. Despite my numerous food allergies, the staff were flexible and accommodating, making our stay much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone, whether you're traveling alone or with a large family like ours. They truly make you feel welcome.

It was the great vacation. The food is top notch. The animators are all welcoming and friendly. Evening animations are just fire! Friendly staff. Good location. Sand and pebble beach that is cleaned. Clean and well-kept area. Modern rooms.

The Himera resort is well maintained and very clean throughout, with a great pool, private beach, and very friendly staff. If you’re looking for a low key resort based holiday this definitely ticks the box…..However, if you’re looking for a little more outside of the hotel it’s worth knowing that this isn’t in the most central of locations and definitely requires a car/taxi to travel further afield. It also feels quite focused on appealing to French/Italian/German guests so if you’re looking for “UK” comforts this may not be for you ( we weren’t so it didn’t bother us at all..). The all-inclusive package provides plenty of food and drinks from the restaurant and pool side bar, with a snack buffet also provided between meals for those that still have room for more. The resort has an entertainment team that run activities throughout the day for those that want it. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to any family who are looking to enjoy a resort holiday in the sun without the accompaniment of British accents, multiple bucket hats, and football shirts……

Beautiful facility, very well maintained, well run, large room. Staff tries to be very helpful. But you ultimately need a car to visit any sites and the guests are overwhelmingly French. The beach is rocky and small. The breakfast was the worst meal we had in Italy by far. Managia does an awesome job as a self contained, all inclusive resort. It’s extremely clean, extremely well organised and has all the amenities you’d expect from this type of property. But if you don’t speak French and / or want to spend a lot of time in places like Noto, you’re better off staying elsewhere.

Not for the British Im afraid..obv a French/Italian all inc holiday hotel.. Miles from any eateries...so why offer B&B?.....and the breakfast was poor continental style .... AI option was for all other nationalities..."but not for you".....actually spoken to me CAR is essential ..please make this known
