Our stay at Can Tho Victoria Hotel was delightful! Despite the hotel being old, the amenities were excellent, and the central location was convenient. This hotel is in a nice location, not far from the river, quiet in the evenings. Not far from important places.
It is a large hotel with big rooms, large reception area, easy parking, has a grand feeling to it.
But the hotel is not being kept up well. Walls have marks on them, carpets have stains, it looks and feels old. And so instead of making renovations and modern changes, they include breakfast buffets and lower the price some days. It’s too bad, I’m sure when the hotel first opened, many people talked about it.

The hotel is very well located in the centre. It has everything. Massage, karaoke, swimming pool, a number of coffee shops, and a sky bar overlooking the city. The rooms are large, well appointed, and very modern. Linens are a high standard, as are the toiletries and wardrobe spaces. The bathroom is large and has all amenities, and is again spacious. Reception is well organised and very fast to respond. The breakfast is outstanding, and the price for staying in this hotel is unbelievably reasonable.

The hotel has a very modern design with youthful colors, a comfortable space with games in the lobby, and enthusiastic and attentive staff. Especially the staff here are very welcoming like Trinh, Tuong, Van and are very supportive ^^. I plan to have a business trip to Can Tho and will stay at SOJO hotel!!!

Last trip I chose V'Luna Hotel Can Tho because:
- Convenient location to Can Tho airport and Ninh Kieu wharf in just 5 minutes.
- New hotel, modern equipment
- The + point is that the staff is very friendly and cute.
To be honest, I was in Ninh Kieu Wharf area - the center also has many options. But the downside is that the hotel is old, noisy and high priced.
So why don't you choose V' luna?

The recent stay at the Sheraton Can Tho was a very pleasant one. The hotel restaurant food was fantastic, especially the Kho Fish, It was so good. Everyone from the waiting staff to the restaurant manager was very friendly and helpful, especially Wendy, she was very nice and helpful. Will stay here again next trip to Can Tho.

The hotel is located beside the river and is spotless and the staff are lovely, breakfast is freshly cooked and the bed is comfortable, the staff moved us to a different room after one night as I requested a different bed. However one of my biggest problem is the distance the hotel is from the city (about 2 kms), there are no facilities locally and walking in the heat 32C wasn’t a great idea so we had to get taxi to go anywhere. My other problem is that this hotel is a very popular wedding venue and party venue. The karaoke is blaring and relentless, it’s impossible to escape the noise level. The swimming pool and coffee dock areas are where events take place so effectively this area is out of bounds to guests. The dining room adjoins the outdoor party area so that is also out of bounds due to intense noise, literally the walls were vibrating, I can party with the best but this was intense, and unbearable. This is our fourth night, so far we had a party one night, a wedding the following night, two weddings the following day etc. it has unfortunately made for a very uncomfortable stay, the staff are lovely, they realised how intense the outdoor entertainment was but unfortunately we’re unable to muffle the noise. This is the real reason I marked this hotel down, I definately would not stay here again nor could I recommend it in all honesty. Book with caution, you’ve been advised

It's okay for a quiet rest, but there aren't too many nearby, so you have to take a taxi. Even if you walk, you have to go 1km to get there, and the surrounding area is a high-end residential area.. There were times when Grab couldn't get there because it was far from the city center, so I had to wait for 20 minutes.
Breakfast is good and the staff are gentle and very friendly. I don't speak English. The facilities are good for the price. Compared to the price ^^
There is no one here during the week, but on the weekends locals use it for various events.

663221084This is a small family run accommodation, with home cooked meals and a personal touch. The family were friendly, with the 2 younger ladies having good English. The room was lovely, and although we chose an air con room which was described as being first floor and not on the water, this did it an injustice. It was up about 5 steps onto the verandah, and although the verandah wasn't sticking out OVER the water (as some of the rooms were), it was right next to the water and facing it. So we were very pleased. I guess the room was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly fine for our needs, with a comfortable bed and good air con. I don't think staff came inside the room at all during our stay, but they did leave fresh towels outside for us each day. We had fun trying out the kayaks one day, for the life of me I don't know how we didn't fall in as it was so wobbly on getting in! We also used the hotel's free bikes, which was great. They gave us a map of where to go, to get to Can Tho itself, and talked us through it to ensure we were clear. I was then able to easily follow the route on Google Maps. We really enjoyed the cycle trip, it was a good chance to venture out on our own, and to explore Can Tho. We were asked each day to confirm what time we wanted to eat, I guess with it being home cooked food it helped them to plan ahead. All food was delicious, you didn't choose from a menu - which I hadn't realised, so was a bit alarmed when food just was brought to the table on our first evening, as I am vegetarian and my husband is not very adventurous with his food! But they had remember I had noted being veggie on my booking and had done me something specially, and we both really enjoyed our food. They had an honesty system for drinks, where you helped yourself, and wrote down on bit of paper what you had consumed. Then at the end they used that to create your bill. The only small thing I'd say is that I hadn't realised from the online photos, that there is actually nowhere near the pool to sit and sunbathe. It wasn't a big deal for us, we still took a couple of dips in the pool, but had we intended to stay more nights we'd have definitely been a bit disappointed there. All in all we loved staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

In our room the airco was broken and they give us a free upgrade. Thank you.
There is one con and that was the shower.
We could not get warm water.

Our nice tour guide Mr. Hai picked us up at 5 in the morning at the hotel. With a small boat (not a tourist boat) in the morning mood we went up the river to Cai Rang. During the trip Hai told us many interesting details about the market Cai Rang, life in the market and at the Detalta. Then it went to a pasta factory and in an orchard. We can highly recommend you tour with Mr. Hai!!!

GGuest UserWe have never gave bad review but today we have to. We booked 9 rooms for 3 nights here. We came early around 10:30 in the morning, very rude dude in the front desk kept saying we can't get in until 2pm. We didn't expect to get in sooner than 2pm but it seem he was not happy with too many people (18 people) around the lobby too early. The hotel is super old, dark and dirty. You can see layers of dust everywhere, spiderwebs at all conners. Lot of guests are smoking inside the hotel (Lobby - No smoking area) They gave us 6 rooms first (3 rooms later whenever they are ready). My room was on the 3rd floor which is where they do body massage business on the same floor. It was terrible, my room was badly smell, dirty, creepy and wet. I couldn't think twice, left the room and went to the lobby. When i reached to lobby i already saw all my people from my group down there - they just left their rooms because same reasons. We have been staying hotels all over the world and never seen any hotel that bad. We left the hotels and stay at other hotel nearby. Called agoda to try to get the money back. The hotel manager there kept telling lie to Agoda and refused to cancel our bookings. We lost all money for 9 rooms x 3 nights, but we glad we did. Worst hotel ever

GGuest UserDishonest and misleading hotel. Believe the poor reviews. Lots of ************ business in the area. I had booked hotel room for 7 days but cancelled it after staying one night. I booked two rooms via agoda. When I got to the hotel yesterday, I was informed that the included breakfast was not at their hotel. Hotel receptionist said it was hotel policy to keep passport. I told her she could take a photocopy of it but I was uncomfortable with her keeping it. She insisted that was the only way we could get the room and she would return it in the morning. Although hotel is new, it is poorly constructed and necessary amenities are lacking. Hand soap for both rooms were unavailable and hotel staff said they ran out. Rooms did not have safety latch on doors. Room safes were light metal boxes that can easily be lifted and removed from room. What’s the point? Bathtub shower is mounted about knee height, and there are no shower curtains so water drips everywhere. Breakfast was at a different hotel and was clearly stale old food that they must have put out for multiple days now. 90% of the businesses in this neighborhood are massage parlours that advertise “beautiful girls between 18-25.” Based on the men that hang around the neighborhood and the amount of massage parlours, I would not recommend any hotel in this area. Many of the hotels in the neighborhood have massage parlours attached to their hotel and have signs offering hotel room rentals by the hour. Holiday 2 hotel has a “massage parlour” as well on the 11th floor. Before I checked out I went to see if it was a real massage spa. Clearly it was not as they were not open yet and it was already noon. The room has a bed rather than a massage table. I had agoda cancel the rest of my booking with this hotel. Agoda was able to cancel for me without any charges, but the hotel refused to release my passport unless I paid for the two hotel rooms at an inflated price, their walk in price. I ended up having to pay double the rate that I had paid agoda in order to have hotel release my passport back. And the hotel had the audacity to try to charge me for the breakfast even though it was included in the agoda price. I moved to a different hotel and paid more but i am so glad i left this hotel and the neighbourhood it is in. This place will try to squeeze get every extra dollar they can from you.

PParcherI booked this hotel last minute after deciding to leave where I had planned to stay overnight. There weren’t a lot of economical choices remaining. The hotel lobby is somewhat lavish, the room I had was basic, but clean (especially compared to where I’d left!), and the bed was comfortable. Walls are a little thin, so you can hear folks in the hallway, and the hotel is generally a little worn. But a good value for the price.
