Stayed 3 nights in a standard queen room. The room was nice, although a bit dark as I was on the ground floor with a small window facing the hotels covered entrance. The bed was very soft, maybe too soft for some. The bathroom with walk in shower was compact but functional. The hotel is close the main attractions, with free secure onsite parking. Kingston shops are close by with many nice cafes and supermarket. It has a fully mini bar in the room but I found the prices too high, $9 for a bottle of beer, so I Didnt use it. I got a great rate for my stay.

A friend and I shared a two bedroom apartment at the Sebel the last two nights while visiting Canberra. This is a new hotel about two years old, the main benefit is that it is close to all the main attractions you would want to visit while in Canberra. Also the option of being able to basically share a two bedroom apartment instead of staying in two standard hotel rooms made the trip feel more special. I would definitely stay here again on my next Canberra visit. Only thing missing is that it is predominantly a place to sleep, there is no restaurant or bar at the hotel. Having said this there are plenty of places to eat walking distance to short car rides away. Although we did not make use of it the kitchenette and the washing machine and dryer would come in very handy for longer stays. Also there are three big tvโs one in each bedroom as well as the living room. In case you do feel like some of your own time.

The service attitude is good, but check-in is at 2 o'clock. It's a bit dull. You may have to wait for cleaning. The overall price is good. There are kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer and refrigerator, which is very convenient. There is a big balcony where you can smoke, and there are two downstairs Cantonese restaurant. There are several Chinese restaurants nearby. There is a Korean supermarket opposite. It is not far from ANU. I will continue to stay next time.

Good location - restaurants near by but mostly closed (possibly due to the time of year we stayed, checked in 29th December for 3nights). Ezy mart 2 doors away. Parking a bit tricky but can manage free street parking on the weekend. Hired a king executive room - had king bed with a sofa bed (double), had plenty of room to move (we had 2adults and 3kids - 12, 11 & 3yo). Stayed on the second floor which was the same floor as the pool/sauna/gym, pretty convenient. Pool was large, cold but loved that it was indoors. Breakfast was good too, sufficient to start the day. Staff lovely and helpful

Saw the reviews and was not expecting much. I have been surprised to be honest. The reception was helpful, check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, well equipped and the bed, lovely and soft and we had the best nights sleep. The only gripe was the communal area toilets were grubby but thatโs down to dirty people. You get what you pay for and we were comfortable and can only speak of our experience.

Location is very good. It locates at Dickson which is a very convenient place. Many restaurants are located around 5 minutes drive from the hotel. The condition of the rooms are acceptable and it's quite quiet at night. The front desk is helpful. Car park is located at B1 of the hotel which cost $15 per night. Street parking will be available opposite to the hotel but it's full at long weekend. Overall, it's a good choice.

The room is clean and the service is very satisfactory. That is, the soundproofing effect of the hotel room is poor. You can hear someone checking in in the middle of the night. It is suitable for people who go to bed early. Overall, it is highly recommended! Great location!

Good hotel. The room was a reasonable size considering that this is a budget hotel, the ensuite toilet and shower are small but adequate. It is a bit out of town but fine if you have a car (probably public transport is available nearby, I did not check). They don't have a restaurant but you can buy a frozen meal from reception and heat it in a microwave if you like (continental breakfast can also be bought, I didn't try it).

Excellent
GGuest UserFriendly and welcoming staff, both on arrival and throughout the stay. Rooms are clean and well appointed, with comfortable furniture. The rooms are quiet and have all the necessary features for a relaxing stay. Great location and parking is convenient.
GGuest UserFrom the first moment you walk into the room, the musty smell hits you like a brick! The room we had was very small, but that didnโt bother us at all. It was the stagnant, stale air and the unmistakable smell of a very old hotel room, which once-upon-a-time was inhabited by smoking guests. I tried without success to open a window - I was desperate for some fresh air! On night two of our stay, after returning from a full day out exploring Canberra, I was astonished to see that housekeeping had replaced our towels, but not bothered to make the bed, empty the rubbish bin or vacuum the floor! This property is described as 4-star on the Best Western website, I have no idea how they are able to claim this rating! The breakfast selection can only be described as bare minimum, but the most disturbing thing about the breakfast โbuffetโ was how messy the entire area was! We found crumbs and pieces of rubbish scattered on each of the tables holding the food. Needless to say, we took a hard pass on the breakfast! The only positive I have to offer about our experience at this hotel is that the water pressure in the shower was very good.
MMohan MoorthyFirst time stay in Canberra. Hotel Kurrajong, what a perfect place to stay. Quaint little boutique hotel with a charming onsite restaurant. Staff were courteous and friendly. We dined twice in the hotel restaurant during our three night stay. Food was delicious and the ambience was lovely. Hotel had a beautiful fireplace at the entrance. There was an onsite gym but no pool. Highly recommended.
CChengThe room and bathroom were quite clean! !! The counter staff is very kind! !! About 20-30 minutes from the airport, but not too far from several well-known attractions, very convenient
AAnonymous UserThe location is pretty good with the own transport. Easy assess to the famous tourist attractions and Canberra Centre. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a simple style but provides most of the stuff. Disposal slippers are provided but the toothbrushes and tooth pastes are not at this hotel. The another thing I would like to share that is the bed and pillows are soft to us. A few more kinds of free tea and coffee are also provided in the lounge bar and library on L5 & L6. The room was clean everyday. Kid enjoyed the view in the room there. Overall, we were happy to stay at LNH with what we paid and expected.
้ฉฌ้ฉฌThe environment is very good, the front desk service of the first reception is also good. Proactively helped us solve many problems. And told us that we can check out at 2 pm, we can have more rest meetings the next day, so we have a conference call after the check-in day, but the door is knocking from 8:00 to 12:00 the next day. The attitude is extremely bad. I have been explaining to the front desk the next day that the hotel told us that we can check out at 2pm. The new front desk still asks me to pay another day's room rate. Spending money is a trivial matter, but the attitude determines my impression of the hotel. Many hotels in Australia have a very good service attitude, but this one is very disappointing.
GGuest UserThe Forest Hotel is best great value for money in Canberra. Whilst it was created in the 1960s, is a solid construction. It is family owned which makes it a very special place in Canberra. From the Owners down, to Reception or the Cleaning Staff they are committed to making your stay in the Forest great. They pride themselves on being the best! They have a great restaurant Monday to Friday. Itโs at night, which does takeaway and room service โ they have really nice specials. The pizzas are pretty good as well. I regularly go to Canberra and the Forest is my home from home. The Forest is the best, Forget the rest!
MMN263We had a great stay at the Rydges.
We arrived earlier than normal check in time and they accommodated us with little wait time.
Room was clean and tidy nice hot showers as were from WA it was -1 when we arrived.
No complaints front desk staff were super friendly and helped with and questions we asked regarding places to go and see while here on our short stay.
Would stay again, definitely recommend.
DO NOT STAY HERE. We paid nearly $2000 for the 3 bedroom apartment and it is very obvious that they NEVER get cleaned. They may have โcleanersโ employed but they do not clean a single thing. The carpet is absolutely disgusting and if you have a crawling baby do NOT stay in here. The quilts are covered in what looks like poo or blood stains and we had to ask the โcleanersโ for new ones but donโt think they will put them back on for you, they will dump them in a pile on the lounge. You get given half the amount of towels you need for the people in the room and the sign says place towels in the shower and they will give you new ones. We had 6 people in our room and had to collect fresh towels from the pool area and they would take ALL 6 and replace it with 3. I donโt understand why a 3 bedroom apartment would have 1 bathroom but the 2 bedroom apartments have 2 bathrooms. We know this as family stayed on the other side and those rooms were slightly better. Our shower was so mouldy and the spa bath is broken, not that I would use it anyway cause I canโt even imagine the crap inside those jets when the entire apartment doesnโt even get cleaned. The shower door doesnโt even close properly ( see pics) so you either let the water pour out on the floor or use hulk strength to slam it shut as it scrapes all the metal. The bathroom door into the bedroom also has to be shut with hulk strength as it also scraped along the floor and gets jammed. Furniture was falling apart, beds, tables, lounges ( see pics) the table leg was about to fall straight off. Basically all the drawers were filled with crap left from the previous person that stayed, maccas coupons, face masks, chocolate and wrappers, a razor. Again I repeat, these apartments do NOT get cleaned. Oh and they give you 2 toilet rolls for a family of 6 and if you pop down to Woolies and buy your own so that you can actually wipe your bum and your family can wipe their bums, donโt leave your packet of toilet rolls near the toilet because the โcleanersโ will in fact start taking YOUR own supply of toilet rolls to put on the holders, taking WITH THEM half a roll of toilet paper that wasnโt used. All YOUR own toilet paper. Moving on to the kitchen, the website says fully stocked kitchen but if you were thinking of actually cooking in your oven think again cause 1. You will burn your hands off getting anything out cause there is literally nothing to use and there are also zero trays to actually cook anything on. The website also says fresh tea towels daily but we never had a single new one in 5 days. If you are also thinking you would like the convenience of a private washing machine, donโt bother, itโs broken and not one staff member will tell you and they donโt put a sign on it. There was, however, some tape in the lock section we took a guess that maybe itโs broken or was the tape so it didnโt close shut all the time and go mouldy. Well we opened the laundry liquid drawer and that was full of crap an
็ฑ็ฑๅ็็ฑณ็sumiThe location is not very central, but it is okay. After all, it is not possible to have no car in Tu'ao, and then drive to the center in 5-10 minutes. And Canberra, as a capital, really can't see how it looks like a capital, haha ... it's almost like a day and a day with Beijing. Haha ... it's sparsely populated, and almost no one is on the street after 7pm.
The environment of the hotel is good. It is the highest two-story building, and it is also very convenient to carry luggage. After all, it is a brand chain. All aspects of sanitation and services are guaranteed, but in general, it is older A little bit! The breakfast in the morning was fair, the variety was good and the taste was ok. It was 8pm when we arrived, and the sky was still bright, but there was not much food outside, haha ... so I ordered something to eat at the hotel, which was not bad!
