Hotel Alux Cancun Reviews

The location is very good, right next to the ADO terminal, and it's only 200 meters away by R1. The hotel facilities are old and there is no elevator. There are OXXO supermarkets and Subway around the hotel, which are convenient for eating and shopping.

There are many small cockroaches in the room. The room smelled of cigarettes, the equipment was old, and the only toiletries were soap. The only good thing is the location, which is right next to the ADO bus terminal.

We stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions due to the location close to the ado and easy way to get to the hotel zone or the shopping area (close to market 28, market 23, ado, bus stop hotel zone).

Late arrival from Cancun airport, A little lady was there to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. The room is spacious Bathroom with WC Air conditioning and TV Small street restaurants opposite where you eat deliciously well.

Very noisey. we expected some noise but this was over the top. Location is great though. Absolutely no english spoken!

This is an older outdated hotel that could become from some upgrades. It was clean and the bed was okay but the linens were worn. I booked through ******* however had to pay cash at check in. Strong smell of cleaning products. It’s close to the bus station which is why people stay here for a night.

Older property which needs updating. No amenities, and the furnishings are old. Took a long time for the water to heat up in the shower. Air conditioning works but not well. Strong smell of cleaning products. Had to pay in cash. Only positive thing is that it is near the bus station and will do for overnight.

It was old school and an authentic experience. Don't ever let the chains take over. They Suck.!!

Very convenient location only meters away from the ADO bus station. Can’t beat the price and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Hot water and a fully air conditioned room is necessary in a humid place like Cancun.

The Hotel is located at convenient place around transportation specially ADO and shopping places. The only thing it wasn't too much hot water.

The room is large and clean. Overall it was a good deal. Served its purpose. I have a bad knee and I was on the second floor and there is no elevator.

They charge you more than the original amount the app shows, claiming that it’s because of the taxes (taxes were charged in the amount of *******). It’s a 4 story building and there’s no one to help you with your bags (stairs only). Luckily I was on the second floor. The room had a musty smell, the bed sheets were stained and the shower wasn’t properly cleaned. The AC was pretty noisy

Best thing about this property is location next to ADO bus terminal, so very convenient if Cancun isn’t your destination but you need to overnight before continuing your journey by bus.

It is close to the power plant but there was no hot water, only cold and very cold, I would not stay again unless I found another option
