The Pyramid Cancun - All Inclusive Reviews

This is an old property. Our room was very old and while I think they tried to update it it was not very relaxing. I paid to have the black band which is a lot of money. The blue and white bands did not have the same dinning hall and I was told the same liquor. The room had open loose electrical plugs. Peeling base boards no drawers for your clothing only night stand draws that were so old they smelled and needed paper in the bottom of them. There was ants in the shower and the beds are super hard. The food at the buffet is mediocre and mostly cold. While some of the staff were friendly most of the others acted like they did not care. On My terrace the plaster was peeling and broken. I needed a blanket and asked three staff to please get me one. I froze the entire night and the next day went to the front desk and was able to get it then. With the money I paid you would think the cabanas was free but they are not. I was in a junior suit and there was nothing special for the additional price. It can be difficult to get dinner reservations at times so when u get there make them because they book up early. I have to say the property itself the staff did do their best to keep it clean and it looks very well until you go into your old room. Hopefully they will remodel soon. The pools were crystal clear and beautiful. I can only say this is below average because of the general food the unconcerned lack of help staff, the old rooms and cheap liquor.
