Our first night we sat and dined at 'the Palapa' and had no problems however the next morning for breakfast when we found a table and sat a young lady came and told us that the next time we needed to wait for her to seat us and it felt as if we were being scolded for not knowing that.

Excellent stay. Would stay again. Beautiful beach, plenty food options.

Overpriced

This was my first stay upon arrival, and although it wasn't all-inclusive due to the activities, I had a good breakfast and stayed there.

It's okay, but the cleaning is not timely.

This is one of my favourite places to visit yearly! It’s quiet and small without that loud party vibe like most all inclusives. Only dislike is that king bed was horrible. It was so soft and flimsy, two people couldn’t sleep on it, we just sank to the middle.

The girl working at the main lobby for check out.i gave her the coupens for the travel she said she adjusted the price they promised for the trip.but thats the big lie she charged me the whole price $628 us dollars. Please be careful when you guys checkout.

My stay was good. We booked through *******, so we didn't realize this was a timeshare resort. For timeshare, they book rooms Saturday to Saturday and we booked Wednesday-Monday to save on airfare. Due to this, we had to move rooms halfway through our stay to a different room. Not a big deal, just something to note. Additionally, the concierge said I'd get a discount on two activities if I attended the timeshare presentation, so I did. Afterword, I chose two activities (through the travel company located in their lobby-as instructed) and they didn't honor the discount they promised stating I had chosen different activities than I originally indicated. I thought this was unprofessional, but didn't make a deal of it because I had always planned on doing the activities regardless of the discount. Overall, the building was nice, the rooms were excellent and we had a nice stay. There is a travel company called Thomas Moore who has a desk in the lobby. You can book activities, travel to/from the airport, etc. Use this! Their service was excellent. One additional note, one of my daughters had her cell stolen while we played volleyball on the beach. Be careful of your belongings....

Everyone was super friendly and very professional! I want to recognize in particular the housekeeper by the name Irene Murillo she did an excellent job! She made sure everyday our needs were met! She went beyond her duties on both villas! She deserves a raise! She has people skills and is very professional!

The staff was wonderful, the facilities are very clean. It's an older hotel, and looks a bit dated, but it's well maintained. The beach is disappointing, it's covered in seaweed, and the water isn't the clearest. With that said, a shuttle runs to The Royal Sands several times a day. It's a 25 minute drive, but free. The Sands has a truly amazing beach. Literally, the clearest, bluest water I've ever seen in person. Based on other reviews, we opted not to get the all inclusive package. Instead, we took the bus to the grocery store, on our first day, and bought grocery for the week. Between that and local restaurants, we were set. We didn't eat at any of the hotel restaurants, so I can't speak to them. Overall, we were quite satisfied. Next time, we'll probably pay the extra money to stay at The Sands. But, for the price, The Royal Cancun definitely met our expectations.

I gonna be honest this resort very small the staff are good but not worth the money I spend there not for a family for sure

Had a 3 day stay in this amazing resort. Huge 2 pools that are Kid friendly too. Amazing housekeeping services. Had a lovely view of the pool from our room. Loved the food, especially the Italian and mexican cuisines are amazing. Had very good variety breakfast choices in the buffet. Overall had a very calm and stress-free stay.

I liked the people, the excellent food although it was very pricey compared to the US.
