Canico Hotels with Free Breakfast

The facilities were clean, all hotel services worked properly. The breakfast buffet varied slightly from day to day and the waiters were friendly.

Stay as expected. The hotel is well located and the half board is good, with good quality products. Neat facilities, well soundproofed rooms, in short I recommend it.

Fantastic hotel! Location right by the ocean, free shuttle bus to the center of Funchal, ala carte themed restaurant, delicious food - varied and a lot of seafood, all inclusive works flawlessly - I don't know which sangria is better red or white. Rooms spotlessly clean functional large bathroom. In the evening, animations including Portuguese folklore - I greet Filip from the reception who stole the show :) Service at the highest level - If Madeira is for sure RIU. The view from the restaurant from the terrace is great. Not far from the hotel at the end of the boardwalk, you can go up the cliff off the trail.

This hotel is one of the three hotels. The reception is located at Hotel Rocamar, which is quite far. The room is spacious with a kitchenette, but the decor is a little simple and old-fashioned . The balcony is huge with a sea view. There is a hotel private parking area that costs 7.50 euros per night. Otherwise there are free parking on the street which is hard to find and paid parking which is free at night. The gym, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room are free of charge m, but they close at 6 pm, which is quite inconvenient. There are also many restaurants inside, which you choose to include with the room. I overheard that they did program for Christmas and New Year. It is perfect for those who just want to stay in the resort and not to go around the island.

I stayed here in 2017 and it was fabulous. I booked again for May this year but British Airways cancelled my flight. Fortunately the good people at trip.com were able to change my booking to 30 September at no additional cost. Unfortunately, British Airways have let me down again and cancelled this second flight. The restrictions around COVID wil make it impossible for me to go to Madeira this year, even if BA were flying there, which I think they are not. I have no option but to ask for a full refund of the hotel fee, but reading the reviews of trip.com I see some really good ones and some really bad ones. Let's hope I get lucky. Next year I certainly wish to return to this great hotel, when things have returned to normal. Here's hoping trip.com can help.

Although the environment is good, the facilities are outdated and there is no air conditioning. The house is cool outside and the house is stuffy and hot. What's more terrifying is that there are mosquitoes. It broke my perception that there are no mosquitoes in Europe.

Renovated in 2022, the Hotel Royal Orchid is a great choice for accommodation in Canico.The hotel offers easy access to Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, just 11km away. Seeing Canico's sights from this hotel is easy with Reis Magos Promenade, Manta Diving Madeira and Miradouro Pico da Atalaia all close by.This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
