Please don’t be fooled. We went late April with my husband, 2 kids, and 2 friends. We originally booked through Air bnb with Tina and Steve. Checking in was smooth, they messaged me with the details. When we got there, the furniture was out dated, the utensils were dirty in the cabinet, and under the bed in the master room was gross. I was the first to walk in when we got there and went straight to the patio to see the view. When I tried to go in the patio, the screen door was already broken. At the time we didn’t think anything of it. We stayed for about 5 days. A few days after check out I get a message stating that we broke the patio door, we smashed the wall, and that we missed up the coffee table. We had never seen the wall messed up nor the coffee table due to us hardly being in the condo. They are trying to charge me $837 dollar for damages! I tried to appeal to air bnb and told them the situation, but they denied it because we had no proof. This is honestly the worst experience we ever had. We treat every rental like our own home and take good care of it. This was a very bold move to blame someone else for damages. I was very offended by them. Please be aware if you go, inspect every single thing in the building and let them know. Take pictures. Have proof. Do not make the same mistake we did.
