This is a lovely traditional hotel in a delightfully quiet place. Decor and fittings are of a very high quality and service is exceptional. The standard offer is half board which we were nervous about (we would usually prefer B&B to enable a variety of choice for dinner), however the food in the hotel is excellent and we were very happy indeed to eat there every night. Immediately opposite the hotel is a ferry stop so enabling easy exploration of the lake. However,a word of warning, ferries went on to a winter schedule on 6th October thus limiting the options although the hotel has a private boat and gives an excellent alternative. If we were to go again at this time of year, we would rent a car.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely hotel, positioned by the waters edge and the ferry terminal. All the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast which was excellent and dinner were both served in the dining room overlooking the lake by very attentive friendly waiters. Would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

We werden buitengewoon gastvrij ontvangen. We hadden gekozen voor de suite met full zicht op het mooie Lago Maggiore en werden zeker niet teleurgesteld: we kregen een mooie, ruime kamer met koninklijke inrichting. We genoten er elke ochtend van een royaal ontbijt en 's avonds aten we in één van de restaurants verbonden aan het hotel: allemaal zeer positieve ervaringen!

The same old world charm and great service as ever. Our third visit. A haven of tranquility overlooking the lake. We had a suite which was charming and superbly decorated. Dinner in the dining room watching people stroll past (and trying to make heads or tails out of the boat timetable!) is relaxing. We love the wine tasting, made special by Giovanni.

A lovely hotel situated on Lake Maggiore. Great breakfasts, and we had dinner here on one evening, and that was also good. Friendly and efficient staff. The rooms with lake view are best. Great location of early evening drinks. We stayed for 5 nights, and highly recommend this place

In unserer "Plastik-Welt" ein Hauch von Stil und Klasse. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, tolle Lage direkt amSee, sehr schönes Ambiente - all das ist sehr empfehlenswert. Zum Restaurant können wir keine Aussage treffen, hat aber auch einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht.

Sehr angenehmes, traditionelles Hotel mit toller Lage direkt am See, der Bootsanleger ist direkt davor. Super ist auch der Aussenpool im Innenhof. Das Essen im Restaurant ist allerdings lediglich Durchschnitt und dafür zu teuer - dafür haben wir keine Empfehlung

Wonderful helpful staff, Great location found by accident very romantic. Can’t praise staff highly enough Charged top wack for cheap wine 38 euro for 5 euro wine 2 bottles But worth the experience Second bottle was corked view is amazing Big thank you to both the staff for memorable evening
