Cap Maison Resort & Spa

This review is for Cap Maison at large, which was an absolutely stunning and breathtaking property, exceptionally hospitable with amazing food and drink! But it is also for a special gentlemen, Mr. Darrell, who was one of the waitstaff at the Cliff restaurant. It seemed as if Darrell never left the property, he was always buzzing around with trays and cocktails, plates and silverware ready to serve the guests. He had such a refreshing attitude and seemed so passionate about his profession. He was a man who is exceptional at what he does and truly knows how to deliver customer service. He had the perfect balance of humility, professionalism, and sense of humor!Thank you Darrell and thank you to the entire Cap Maison team!

The suite we stayed in was amazing with a roof top terrace and plunge pool. The suite was well equipped, including a full cocktail making kit and all the bottles you could need for a perfect sundowner. The bed was super comfortable and with loads of different spaces to relax. We had only planned to stay a night, but it was so nice we asked for another night, which the hotel quickly accommodated in a different room. While not an amazing suite, the room was also lovely and clean, well equipped, with seating space inside and out. Our two nights felt a lot longer. Perfect mini-break - thanks to all.

Oh, what an amazing resort Cap Maison is! My wife and I looked forward to our second visit there, but we were somewhat anxious since we had been here before many years ago, and thought maybe it will have lost some luster over time. Sometimes when you have a great experience once, the second time isn't as good...possibly because you had experienced things anew, the unfamiliar can offer unexpected surprises; or maybe we simply play things up in our memory more than we should. I can tell you that once again though, we were simply blown away by Cap Maison! Yes, the resort is still singularly gorgeous, yes the venue for dining is spectacular, yes, the private roof top pool and huge villa rooms are comfortable and they boast great views...but the very best amenity they have are the amazing staff who work there, and the attention to detail they all extend to everyone. From the beautiful Deverney, their helpful concierge, to Julian and staff at the spa, to Tyler and Darrell at the cliff restaurant, to Bob, the helpful and attentive beach server, and Robert the knowledgeable and friendly Sommelier...even the thorough house cleaning staff...I wish I could list them all! Wow! Always a yes, always a "how can I assist?", never without a smile or open greeting. I truly don't know how they do it...but the entire staff is a collective family who can't wait to embrace you as one of their own. Don't miss dining one night on the small island Rock platform in the middle of the sea, or an intimate and very fun private roof top Barb-q, or the private gazebo breakfast on the cliff, or the tasty wine tasting in the Cellar. The intimate spa lesson experience for couples is so fun, as we learned how to make each other relax with new skills as we learned about the science behind the mechanics of a massage. Do you appreciate a talented bartender who remembers how you prefer your drink? You are covered here! This is the perfect romantic intimate getaway spot for a quiet, intimate, spectacularly luxurious experience. There are other great resorts on this West Indies island of St. Lucia, but I can tell you that Jade Mountain or Anse Chastenet are TWICE the cost as the Cap, and they offer a less personalized relaxing romantically unique experience. If an all inclusive experience is what you are after...The Cap Maison has a package for that here too...but on a scale that Sandals could only dream to provide. Having been married for over thirty years, we know that more than a spark can be found at the Cap; so if you want to bring back the fire of your honeymoon back, just book yourself a trip here as a Christmas present to reward each other...you simply can't do better than this! The property is very nice and relaxing, perfect for couples. The food is also amazing but be sure to at least do the half board option if you are planning on eating at the resort. You will save a lot of money. Overall my wife and I had a fantastic time here.

Cap Maison is a beautifully manicured boutique resort located on the Northwest coast of St Lucia. It offers spacious villas, wonderful amenities, beautiful landscaping, and amazing cliff side ocean views. This was our second visit for our main family holiday and it did not disappoint. We love this hotel. The staff go to any length to make sure you have the best holiday, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful, the food is incredible and the restaurants settings have the most stunning views. The service is first class. I highly recommend this hotel. The wine tasting in the cellar is a must ! We will most definitely be back for a third visit.

As part of the Peak to Beach package, my husband and I stayed at Cap Maison for the second half of our trip. I wanted to be at Cap Maison when we celebrated our 30th anniversary. When we arrived, Jamie was very welcoming (and helpful throughout our stay)! The grounds were so well kept and very lush with many varieties of hibiscus and other tropical plants. The villa we stayed in was spacious and the bedroom air-conditioned. The fans throughout the villa made us quite comfortable. I loved the natural light the windows provided. There was access to our pool from our bedroom and there was even an outdoor shower connected to the shower inside. The pool was clean and we loved relaxing and enjoyed the view of the coconut trees and flamboyant tree. You didn't have a direct view to the ocean because there were some plants to give you some sense of privacy. However the view from the porch and the chairs provided in the yard were something else. We were in our own little heaven. And since it was the slow season, there was hardly any other guests around our villa. Housekeeping was quick and friendly when we saw them. The turndown housekeeper made us these beautiful towel art swans with fresh flowers. It was a very thoughtful touch. The Cliff restaurant was incredible. So much food and so beautifully presented! The filet was top notch as was every course presented. We were always offered fresh fruit and pastries at breakfast. We did not know, because it was the slow season, that the Cliff is not open every night, and it rotates with The Naked Fisherman. But it did not impact us since we had reserved the gazebo for our anniversary dinner. I didn't realize that most people reserved the Rock Maison for anniversaries but the gazebo was perfect in our eyes- the view of the beach from the cliff, the view of the sunset, only steps from our villa. Jamie, the concierge, shared that people were very respectful of the events in that space since it was in more of a public/ open area. It would be perfect for a wedding. Kazia (spelling?) was an absolute professional and so kind and joyful in attending to us during our anniversary dinner. The chef even came out with her to present dessert which had a special message written in chocolate on our plates. All of it divine. The beach was fantastic since the chairs were part of the packages as was all of the water sport equipment. We enjoyed snorkeling right off the beach. I'm here to tell you that Bob is the hardest working individual with the most joy. You could tell he loved engaging with the guests and making sure we were all attended to and had all the drinks and food we needed. Honestly, almost every employee we encountered reflected the pride they took in their work- the pool keepers, the grounds keepers, housekeeping, barkeep, the waiters and waitresses, concierge. Nice facilities helpful staff

This place is simply amazing! A peaceful and tranquil resort that feels like a Spanish villa getaway in tropical paradise. We were originally staying at a different resort nearby, with our wedding scheduled, and decided to leave. This place was exactly what we needed. They were so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. I'm terrible with names but everyone at the front desk was amazing (I recall Darnell). The food was delicious and we did the all inclusive. Naked Fisherman and The Cliff were both delicious. We never had anything we didn't love. Kasia was amazing at The Cliff. Sasha was awesome at Naked Fisherman. Janin pulled off our wedding in only a few days and was awesome. Taddy was our server for the wedding and she was amazing and friendly. I can't say enough positive things about Cap Maison. Everyone there was like family and we do plan to go back. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay at Cap Maison. I promise you won't regret it. The best trip my wife and I have ever taken.
