We have just arrived and will never leave! Already extending our stay. The staff, the grounds, the rooms, the food…all magical. After a week traveling this magnificent country, we are so lucky to have found Locanda Rossa. Grazie Mille. Brad & Lisa.

La Locanda Rossa è un posto stupendo, dove tutto è estremamente curato nel dettaglio. Il personale è gentile e preparato e i servizi offerti sono tutti di livello. Ottima la colazione ed il ristorante.

We wanted a quiet break not too far from places to go, but not right on top of the 'famous places' in Tuscany - although the local towns were semi-closed for the off-season, we had a perfect mix of days out, beach days, country drives, sun-bathing, eating. Strong recommend.

We decided last minute to visit Tuscany for a couple of days and choose Locanda Rosa as our place to stay. It has proven an excellent choice. The property offers a quality experience and the food is also excellent. Barbara and her team are doing a great job. If possible we will gladly return. Thank you for lovely days away.

We loved our stay at Locanda Rossa and were sad to leave! The surrounding area was beautiful and fun to explore, as was the property. The bar and restaurant, while on the pricier side, were absolutely excellent and the waitstaff were super kind. We went towards the end of the season, so the weather was not perfect but it was nice and quiet, which we loved. This would be a nice resort for a couple or families.

La Locanda Rossa è in assoluto la migliore struttura della zona; l’attenzione per ogni dettaglio rende ogni soggiorno davvero unico. Impossibile trovare una nota negativa. Tantissima cura anche per gli amici a quattro zampe. Sicuramente torneremo.

Lovely hotel in a very rural setting a few miles from Capalbio. Essential to have a car. Interesting area, a little bit off the main tourist route I would say. Our room was lovely, very spacious with a fabulous bathroom and balcony , am pleased we booked the de-luxe. Very helpful staff, particularly the concierge who helped us with bookings and visit suggestions. We sadly didn't have great weather, so didn't get to use the pool which looks beautiful. The weather also meant that the breakfast and bar areas were quite chilly (despite some heaters) so not conducive to lounging around. Breakfasts were excellent with a great range of food. Restaurant was good, fairly pricey but delicious food.

This was the one of the best stays my friend and I had in Italy. I would absolutely come back. The property is gorgeous. The location is great too, with the island ferry to Giglio just down the road. The hilltop village of Capalbio within 10 minutes ( one of the prettiest and uncrowded ones) and many wineries in the area…. I really didn’t want to leave…. Thank you to the staff for such a relaxing stay…..
