****** smoke smell...no door from hotel to casi o...open entry allowed smoke smell to permeate air. Overpriced, some room amenities not there, dont like shampooibg with soap bar.

On the River in Cape Girardeau
New hotel attached to ******. Very clean. Room overlooking MS River and downtown area. We were just traveling through but hope to come back for a couple of days stay.

Total thumbs up to this hotel for location and rooms quality. 1 night stay exceeded expectations through my choice based upon prior reviews. Super spacious rooms, and nicely appointed. Overlooking the Mighty Mississippi. Very short walk into the heart of the heritage downtown with lots of options for food and a cool local bars. Special shout-out to the staff - with special recognition to Gretchen on the guest services team for being my super star hero by very quickly, easily, and with such positive attitude arranged to reunite me with my electronic toothbrush that I left behind. She's fantastic. I wish I had a couple more nights, but I'll definitely stay here again. Great value !

This hotel sits right next to the Mississippi river, and you can easily go to some nice areas for walking. The rooms felt like resort-quality comfort with unique touches for the amenities. It lacked the quiet I prefer due to the industrial equipment and air conditioning tht runs for the ******, its a large building and campus. This would be a blast for fitting in a little bit of ******** with a group, where the historical districts are a few minutes away with unique shopping and dining options. I would recommend this resort for a brief stay rather than an extended stay. It is very easy to drive around the area.
