Beautiful hotel with an amazing breakfast selection. The staff is friendly and the hotel is close to all the nightlife spots.

We were allocated an occupied room. We checked in, a room was allocated to us, the porter and ourselves all went to the room, the porter opened the door with the key provided to us. Then BOOOM...the occupant of the room was still in the room. He was shocked and we were shocked too. It was all a shocking experience. I don't know how such an elementary mistake could've been made at a Marriot Hotel!☹️🤷🏿♂️

We had a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel. They have a great location very close to the Cape Town Waterfront. The Waterfront is a leisurely walk away. The hotel also offers a transportation service to and from the Waterfront. The room was neat, clean and very modern. They provide you with everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and they had a lot of different food options. The only downside was the fact that we had to pay for daily parking. Other than that we will definitely be back.

Located a short walk to the V&A Waterfront, the AC Marriott was a great hotel for our stay in Cape Town. The staff we’re govern friendly and helpful. We got the daily breakfast and loved having a buffet option, as well as being able to order items of a menu. There is a shuttle that runs several times a day between the hotel and the waterfront. I would highly recommend this hotel if you come to Cape Town!

Very close to the V&A waterfront and extremely friendly staff but due to the construction around the area it’s difficult to walk anywhere. Be prepared to Uber

The hotel is very close to the V&A harbor in a straight line, but it is blocked by railway tracks and construction sites, so it is not too close to walk. The hotel provides free shuttle buses and boats. If you don't want to make time, you can call Uber, which costs R42-47 one way. It is very convenient. There are many basic buses. On call. The corner room is very large and can see Signal Mountain. Table Mountain can only be seen in the corner, and there is an apartment building in front of it blocking the view. The facilities are very new, there is a nespresso coffee machine, and the shower water pressure is strong enough. The breakfast has a la carte items, and the buffet section is also very rich, but I don't understand the parking charges.

Everything was fine, except that we stayed several days and the breakfast did not change much, so I would recommend that you take this into account. The surroundings are quite safe, adequate parking, good security and attentive and friendly staff, they should take into account expanding the breakfast area since you have to wait your turn to have breakfast when they are full, however they have another free area that they could use so that guests do not have to wait. The room is simple, there is no wardrobe, and there are a few metal shelves. There is no door in the bathroom.
