Great location, able to walk through the vineyard of Groot Constatia where you can do wine tastings at one of the best vineyards in the area. Roughly 30-40 minutes to all Cape Town attractions

It was a great place, very beautiful, located in a safe area, very friendly owners, they were always interested in how things were going and were ready to help. The room was simply amazing, with a very beautiful view. There are also two cute dogs and peacocks living in the house. This is one of the best places to stay in Cape Town.

Our first time to SA - Cape Town. Devonport House was just wonderful and a perfect blissful location. Jacques and Jenny made us feel very welcome, full of great recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing etc. Our suite was amazing, very cosy despite the very cold weather. Breakfast onsite was lovely and very fresh. The entire team were just lovely. Loved the idea of their Honesty bar. We did not want to leave. Will be back:-). Thank you so much. Nikki & Laurent.

From the time we step foot on the property it was a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The hosts and staff were very kind and helpful. The facilities and garden are in an immaculate condition. Food is delicious - the breakfast is enough to keep a young growing man's tummy 'satisfied' up to dinner. Definitely recommended for a stay-over!

Just returned home following a short break in Constantia ! To say we were delighted with our experience at Devonport House would be an understatement, we couldn’t have asked for more, everything was exceptional from the day we arrived to the day we departed, the owners & staff couldn’t have been more helpful!

Looking for a quiet and tranquil place to recharge your batteries, this is it, set in the most beautiful surroundings with awesome views, and watching the twinkling lights across the bay as I fell asleep was very special. The rooms are extremely comfortable and have everything one could need including the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, I cant wait for a return visit.

Firstly huge thanks to J&J and all the staff at the property. You made us feel welcome and relaxed throughout the stay and everything was so easy for us.
The room we had the Olive Tree room was a spacious suite with en suite and was just comfortable, pay and beautiful.
The property itself is beautiful, comfortable and it's real selling points are the pools, a standard one and a lap pool, and the fact you can walk out the back gate to Groot Constantia literally into the vineyard. Their restaurants are absolutely beautiful as well for food and I'm a huge fan of the wine.
Breakfast is continental but just enough of what you need before.you head out or relax. The bar facilities at the property are great as well for a.frink by day or night with a wonderful wine selection.
We also used.Pinto one of the staff to get around to a vineyard and also onwards to Stellenbosch. He was excellent and it's a real plus to be able to add this to your bill rather than faff around with Uber if you're not driving. That said having parking on site is also great.
We will definitely be back and I will be recommending to friends to book! Rich & Andy UK
