I arrived to find the entire lobby under construction. there were pieces that almost fell on my head as i walked in. the rooms look nothing like the website. i didnt stay at the hotel as i didnt feel safe. i will not recommend this hotel to anyone

This is an absolutely horrible establishment. It reeks of cigarettes and dampness throughout. Toilets do not work so they also contribute to the smell. The staff is clueless and the owners are rude. No one at the place has any idea what a please guest experience looks like. There are constantly street-beggers hanging around the entrance and reception which also poses a security risk. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

We saw mixed reviews so decided to go and inspect before we paid. We walk straight back out the door. Always read reviews they tell the story. A smell of stale cigarettes and dampness yet alone not cleaned. I guess if the price is low then there is a reason

Pleasant stay, well located, friendly staff. Fairly new hotel so a lot of renovation was still being done but we only needed a bed to sleep since we travelled during the day. The guests above us were very noisy and sounded like furniture being moved around, but it could have been workers doing renovations. I did not report it because it was bearable.

Reception staff friendly, parking smells smoke, no parking remote for the visitors, you must hoot first and they open. The corridors smell smoke. The rooms not really well kept as my bathroom basin was cleaned once since my check-in. I was allocated room next to emergency door, my room door was not properly fit on the bottom as the wind blows the door was shaking and making sounds. I had sea view room with lots of mosquito 🦟 that had a feast on me. I killed 7 of them. They are everywhere . Worse if the windows are opened. The restaurant was just okay👍. The property is well located but lacks more attention.

This is the second year we have stayed in the same room, while we appreciate the renovations that have been made, there is a long way to go. When using the main shower it floods the floor (poorly designed), polyfilla still on walls, windows are noisy with the wind and putting aircons into the place is way overdue, we visited in December and it was unbearably hot. Staff friendly and helpful under the circumstances.

My stay at Ocean Breeze Hotel in Strand was fantastic! The room was spacious and offered a stunning view. I loved the convenience of having restaurants nearby and the ease of accessing the parking directly from my room via the elevator. Overall, a great experience with excellent amenities and convenient location

Beautiful sea views from the room. Beach virtually on your doorstep. Staff friendly & very helpful. Room comfortable & clean. Well positioned, walking distance to the shops & markets. Stunning pool, super clean.

Nice corner place just a few steps across the road and you are on one of the shiny beaches of South Africa with a breeze on your face,soft sand under your feet and a wide scope of the horizon in front,to your left,a nice view as far as the eye can see,as far as Gordon's Bay, and to your right stretches a beach ,on a sunny day ,will be alive with humanity taking time to cool themselves, and when the tide is low ,immediately in front of you,you will behold a few fishermen patiently waiting for just one bite spread few and far between ..Unfortunately i did not have the pleasure of sitting in the restaurant for breakfast or on the terraces to enjoy the sunset as the sun sun goes beyond the ocean,but enjoyed the gentle lapping of the ocean in the middle of the night when all is quite and dark,and finally be able to take a very early morning breezy run on the long stretch of the beach.
