Blue Views Studio Apartments

I was very disappointed, upon arrival after notifying them we are arriving just before 20:00, there was no one to check us in, I had to phone reception who then had to send someone to let us in. Then there was no parking at the accommodation and we had to park 2 bulldings further and carry our luggage with a 2 week old baby. The accommodation was neat and clean. We did enjoy the linen, but there was guest above us who did not consider anyone else, not sure how many people the apartment could accommodate but there was a lot of people in and out, partying and not considering anyone else. Every 20minutes new guests arrived all chatting and laughing while going upstairs, slamming front door untill early morning hours. We ended up having to leave on Saturday so we can just get some rest.

Lovely studio apartment walking distance from the Bakoven beaches and all the incredible Camps Bay restaurants and bars. Staff were helpful with reservations for tours and activities and we were allowed to use the South Beach Hotel pools which is 500m away - this was a great bonus.

Room was clean and neat. Lovely view of the ocean and a quick walk to the beach. The accommodation was comfortable and well serviced with toiletries. Inverter was fully charged ensuring that we had electronics even during loadshedding. Awesome stay!

We had a decent stay at Blue Views apartments but after staying at a similarly positioned property in the area later in our holiday I would say this was vastly inferior. The apartments were a good size with decent facilities but were both in need of an upgrade with paint peeling and rather old fixtures and fittings. The alarm system was confusing and seemed to state that it should always be turned on but we didn't bother as was a hassle. One of the safes did not work and although there is meant to be access to a swimming pool it was located at a hotel up the road. The Blue views label is misleading as there are lots of houses between the apartment and the sea. That said the location was good for Camps Bay, there is good parking, the load shedding arrangements are solid the TV massive and the beds comfy. The staff were very friendly.

A lovely, clean and comfortable studio apartment with ample space and a well equipped kitchen. Even though you don't have a window with a view once you step out of the door you have a great view and can walk to the town with safety and ease. The hospitality is first class and the little touches such as coffee capsules, milk and water left in the apartment were great and very appreciated.

Great location. A quick walk to the beach, mall and restaurants. Very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful. The road can be quite noisy but worth it for the location. Kitchen amenities were great but please add a wine opener :)
