Novotel Milano Malpensa Airport

The breakfast was really, really bad and the place generally lacked cleanliness. I didn't like it at all, especially since I saw an insect in the room... Truly subpar.

Modern facility. Excellent location for getting to Malpensa, and the staff were courteous, well-mannered, and presentable.

Pros: A room that sleeps 4, free minibar and fridge. Cons: I thought the transfer from Malpensa was €5 per person, but outside of the scheduled times, it jumps to a whopping €35, which is about the same as a taxi. Public transport like buses is also inconvenient, so if you want to drop off your luggage and explore Milan for a day, you'll incur round-trip transfer fees. On the way back, you can store your suitcase at the airport for €8, so there's no reason to return to this hotel. There's a reason why the price is cheaper compared to staying in the city center. Considering the hassle and extra costs, I'd recommend staying near the central station or Cadorna instead.

Novotel is always a guarantee for the services offered. Its proximity to Malpensa airport is excellent, with a shuttle service available for €5 per person. The buffet breakfast is good and varied, offering both sweet and savory options, and the coffee blend is not bad, even from an automatic machine. Room cleanliness isn't impeccable, but the beds are comfortable and large. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and modern, though the exterior could use some maintenance. There's free outdoor parking, and paid underground covered parking for €12 per day. A swimming pool is available for all guests free of charge until 8 PM; it's not large, but a pleasant surprise with sunbeds, umbrellas for hot summer days, and towels provided by the lifeguard on-site. Special mention goes to the receptionist Giovanni, who welcomed us with extreme kindness and professionalism, explaining everything in detail and making us feel comfortable right away.

Stayed for several nights. While the room wasn't huge, it was just right for our family of four. The bed was a bit soft but acceptable. The pool was a great bonus and the kids absolutely loved it!

The hotel is very well located. However, I ended up in a room that smelled like Indian food.

The hotel's outdoor pool 🏊 was fantastic, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything else was standard for a chain hotel, with no major issues. It's worth noting that the shuttle from Malpensa Airport to the hotel requires a phone call and operates during specific hours. They charged me 25 Euros for a solo trip, and it was billed by the rental car company they partnered with, not the hotel itself. For 25 Euros, I wouldn't have waited for the hotel shuttle; I could have just taken an Uber. Shuttles from other nearby hotels run on a continuous schedule and only cost 5 Euros.
