This was a lovely room! Didn't have its own bathroom which I wasn't expecting but I think that's just me not really reading the listing! The person who checked me in was lovely and the room was warm and decorated nicely. Thanks!

Nice hotel.Everything you need.20 mins walk into the center of Cardiff.Or you can catch the bus and be in Cardiff town center in 10 mins.Bus stop is right outside the hotel

Good value for money. Room was small but worked well for one person and you got everything you needed, including tea and coffee. 20 minutes walk to city centre. The room was super clean.

Not only was it good value for monry but the room was clean and the service was excellent. I will be using this place again and highly recommend for others.

The hotel was very clean and recommended for solo travellers.

It was cheap but that's it. The bed was comfy but the walls extremely this. I heard someone with a clear mental issue arguing with himself for 8 hours. Had very little sleep and ended up having to do a fire service recruitment test and a 4 hour motorbike journey in poor weather, extremely tired.

The building presents well from the front and the staff are very helpful and always available. It was my first time staying somewhere with a shared bathroom between around 4 rooms however there was a separate toilet as well as a toilet in the bathroom. It was always clean and I never saw anyone else in them. The room was nice and simple however the aerial on my tv wasn’t fantastic and it was very small. The area itself is quite noisy and I didnt feel safe walking to the store one night as it is close to town and it attracts some rough people. The rest park only has 4 car spaces and it is very tight. My car was unable to fit in there easily without blocking anyone else. On street parking available down side streets less than a minute away. All in all, I would stay again as the staff were fantastic and would go out of their way to help out as I was fortunate enough to find out when I had an issue with my phone.

Tanes Hotel was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. It had a good supply of refreshments in the room, and the room itself was very comfortable and maintained at a good temperature. The service I received was minimal but polite, helpful and accommodating. Excellent value for money

Stay here regularly, and the hotel is always clean, comfortable and relaxing. I always know I’ll have a comfortable, restful night.

Welcoming hotel, in useful location (bus stops just outside with direct route into town, or walk-able). Slept very well in spotlessly clean well-appointed room. Ensuite was similarly pristine. Appreciated the thoughtfulness of choice of drinks (eg sufficient decaff, and there was the option of oatmilk for those who prefer). Would happily stay there again.
