We come once a year to attend a classic car show, and for the past 2 years we stayed at Carlisle House. Both of our stays were less than perfect weekends due to rain. However, being located right in the middle of the events, restaurants, and shops made it easy to still have a great time. The B&B itself is wonderful with extremely nice furnishings and a welcoming environment. Everyone who works there is friendly and down to earth. The breakfast is always great. Will book again next year for sure.

The room was light and large and comfortable and quiet. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The TV was straight forward and had all the channels we expected. The breakfasts were quiches with juices and coffee. Location is all and The Carlisle House is adjacent to downtown and adjacent to Dickinson College.

We stayed in the Hayes suite. The two separate rooms were perfect for us and our two children. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and Paul and his mother were very friendly. The location is great, within walking distance of the historic center and restaurants.

The TV did not work in our room at night. When we called to get it fixed nothing was done. We were told they need to get an extra router, but in the week we stayed no one brought an extra router. The owner was rude and called us entitled. I would never stay here! Go to a nice hotel where they take care of things and are Nice!

Great location for CPYB. Roomy suite. Molly's Garden suite was plenty of room for us and our daughter. Ample free parking which is a big plus in walkable Carlisle. Super clean bathroom with an excellent modern shower. Delicious breakfast. We stayed three nights and each breakfast was more delicious than the last. We left a hat behind and our host mailed it to us. Charming location and service was top notch!

This is an average B&B, nothing to write home about. We had the room with the fancy tub. The room is in the front the busy and noisy highway is just outside your window. Street noise kept us up most of the night. The tub is part of the bedroom: no door, no privacy when taking a bath or shower; make sure the windows shades are down! Breakfast is prepared and served with little to no imagination: same thing each day just a little variation in the ingredients and choice of fruit, all ways some type of quiche, sweet bread, fruit; choice of orange or cranberry juice only. Gets boring.

We've been going to the Carlisle House B&B annually since 2011. The rooms are always spotless and clean, each room is unique, with their own charm. The breakfasts are amazing! Carolyn creates a different quiche each morning, and they are delicious. We stay at the Carlisle House because we are here for the All Ford Nationals. We have also made friends with some of the other patrons who are here annually for the Ford show. It is a great place to stay. We look forward to returning to the Carlisle House each year. We highly recommend The Carlisle House B & B.

We had a fantastic experience and will definitely stay here again. The staff was attentive, kind, and happy to take care of anything we needed during our stay. The room was charming, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.
