Not a single detail missed - from the moment you walk in, you feel welcome by Dawn and the little things she does to make your stay feel special are plentiful! Her breakfasts are to die for - same with her cookies. I could not imagine staying anywhere else!

I needed a recharge and this overnight was exactly what I needed. The homemade, warm, fresh cookies before I went up for bed hit the spot. The breakfast was exquisite! She even customized my meal to accommodate my food allergies! Definitely two thumbs up!

My daughter and I stayed here for one night when there was an issue with our air bnb. It was a last minute booking and Dawn got our room ready in very little time with lots of lovely personal details. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and Dawn goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable with tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks and snacks (including delicious home baked cookies) available to help yourself. In the evening she showed us the amazing evening primroses in the garden open as the sun set then we had a fantastic night’s sleep on the huge comfortable bed. Dawn takes breakfast orders the evening before and allows guests to choose what they would like from an extensive breakfast menu and when they would like it. She took into account my dairy intolerance and made a delicious dairy free breakfast parfait and then scrambled eggs with vegetables and salad freshly picked from her garden. If I am ever back in Carlisle again this would be my first choice of accommodation!

Clean, comfortable, charming, excellent breakfast. Dawn and Bruce are friendly attentive hosts. Also excellent for walking to enjoy the historic downtown. I've been staying there annually since 2019 and I look forward to my stay again in 2025.

Dawn and Bruce are gracious hosts. My daughter and I had a luxurious stay. Dawn and Bruce both enjoy hosting and sharing wonderful breakfast recipes, fresh flowers from the garden and every evening home made cookies. Upon our departure Dawn gifted us their home made granola for our travels. Delicious!

We were fortunate to find the Mooreland Garden Inn in Carlisle at our halfway point driving between Virginia and Upstate New York. Dawn and Bruce, the owners and hosts, are gracious and hospitable. Our Garden Room was a corner bedroom overlooking their large flower beds, with Stickley furniture and a new updated bathroom. Their entire house is spotlessly clean. The breakfast offerings are remarkably diverse. My wife raved about the signature quiche with potato crust. My omelette with ham, feta, tomatoes, and broccoli florets was scrumptious, along with croissants flown in from Lyon! We will definitely book again our next trip - highly recommend.

The room was clean and had anything we could possibly need plus some very nice extra touches. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating and communicated necessary details well. Food was out of this world! Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed all the snacks and drinks provided. Would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

The hostess and host of this lovely B&B were so warm and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in Carlisle PA. So many thoughtful amenities and gestures indicate the hosts' deep commitment to making the guests feel welcome. P.S. don't miss her granola, it is soooo tasty! Would go back in a heartbeat.

It was SUCH a pleasure to stay at Mooreland Garden Inn. Dawn is a master host and she made us feel like we were home and prepared the most delicious meals for us! I was there for an overnight experience and Dawn was super communicative about the stay from the moment check-in began. She even prepared some delicious cookies for us! Thank you, Dawn! you're the best.
