Overall it was pretty good. I stayed for 6 nights. Breakfast was the same every day, but you can order vegetarian meals. The toilet doesn't flush well. Front desk service is also available. Room service always forgets to provide enough supplies.

Terrific stay. Such helpful staff from when we arrived to leaving. Nice walk into centre of city. Clean rooms and very comfortable. Bathroom too hot - couldn’t switch off the radiator. Breakfast good - plenty of food and a good selection. Plenty of parking.

The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was so comfy, I had an excellent nights sleep, thank you. And finally it’s close Hadrian’s Wall Path, so perfect location for walkers.

We recently spent 2 nights here while walking Hadrian's Wall. We found the accommodations fine. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful could not be nice enough. In particular, the relatively new young gentlemen who was the bar man and reception staff was terrific. He was beyond helpful and friendly.

There is not a lift in working order. The reception & areas around it are very nice but the rooms need updating. The hot tap in the bathroom was not running just dripping. There was an alarm going off inside the hotel about 11.30, very noisy room overlooked by room across, had to close curtains for privacy. Staff are very helpful especially Adam who helped with our luggage even though he had not started his shift.

The room was outdated, with poor sound insulation. We could hear the room next door watching bbc news. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom a good size, but the shower pressure was tragic.
The room appeared clean and the bathroom was clean, but there were stains on the carpet, and it didn’t feel hoovered properly.
At check in, the staff was on the phone, instructing us to check in via screen. No one informed us how to get to our room, which given the hotel has a maze like structure was tricky.
Room cleaning was strange. We got fresh towels, but the dirty ones weren’t removed, the bed wasn’t made, and nothing was cleaned for the 3 nights.
Breakfast was included and a good standard English breakfast offering, with fresh pastries etc.
Parking was convenient.
We will not be returning to this hotel when visiting Carlisle.
